Story
Location: Hastings, MN Hi, I’m Katya! I’m a big, beautiful, majestic creature that recently arrived from the Rez. I have beautiful eyes and a big fluffy husky coat. My foster mom says my nickname is Maleficent for my large, unique size and calm, collected demeanor. I have met a few dogs now, and I am friendly but also take time to build trust. Once I do, I warm up and start to get playful. I’ve really grown to love my foster sister. My foster home has kitties; at first I was unsure but I’ve really warmed up to them. I just keep my distance and go about my way. I do not chase, so I could live in a home with a calm, cool cat. I’m very relaxed and enjoy chewing on a bone and napping on the deck especially on the chilly days. I have low energy, but also love a good run around the yard. I am searching for a calm, happy home to settle down in and grow to be an amazing family member and partner. If you think that’s you, then I would love to meet you! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Prior Lake, MN Hi, I’m Tonie! I’m just one big happy girl who is eager to please and play. I recently arrived from the Rez and really enjoy running around the yard getting my zoomies out. I am starting to play catch with my foster mom, and really loving playing with toys. I have some energy, so an active family will be best for me to thrive. I can also be relaxed, and love to chew on a bone and take a good nap in the sun. Especially on the chillier days I love sleeping outside, it feels like home. I’m am very dog friendly, eager to make friends and have play dates. I am so happy to be safe and loved. I have grown fond of the kids here and they love to play with calling me the “husky police dog. ” I am working on my training - learning to not be so jumpy and to sit! I have a lot of motivation to listen to commands and come to my name very well. I’m continuing my crate training but do very well in my own area with a bed. Overall, I am such a spunky happy girl with a lot of potential to grow into a fantastic dog with some good training and lots of love. If you’re looking for a fun, happy go lucky girl, then that could be me! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Buffalo, MN Looking for a dog that likes to keep your yard clean and jump the fence to poop in the neighbors? Don't worry, she comes right back. Or one that enjoys cats - to the point she licks them. Oh and people.. if you need daily hugs, she will give them to you! Snuggles? She's got them. Not great in a kennel? Her too. Looking for a dog to put a fun eye patch on? She'll let ya since she can't see out of one side (aka the eye is gone) Dogs? Yup she likes them too. She likes to play rough . It makes up for the missing eye. Office friend? She's your girl and watches you (depending what side her head is if its the one with an eye or not) quietly slave away to pay for a sturdy kennel, food, and paying the neighbors for pooping in their yard. Don't like dog kisses? She's not for you then. Walking on a leash? A+++ If dogs had Tinder, we know her inbox would be full. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
