Hi, I’m Katya! I’m a big, beautiful, majestic creature that recently arrived from the Rez. I have beautiful eyes and a big fluffy husky coat. My foster mom says my nickname is Maleficent for my large, unique size and calm, collected demeanor.
I have met a few dogs now, and I am friendly but also take time to build trust. Once I do, I warm up and start to get playful. I’ve really grown to love my foster sister.
My foster home has kitties; at first I was unsure but I’ve really warmed up to them. I just keep my distance and go about my way. I do not chase, so I could live in a home with a calm, cool cat.
I’m very relaxed and enjoy chewing on a bone and napping on the deck especially on the chilly days. I have low energy, but also love a good run around the yard.
I am searching for a calm, happy home to settle down in and grow to be an amazing family member and partner. If you think that’s you, then I would love to meet you!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
