I’m Jax, a 7-year-old Shepherd mix with legs for days and a personality that wins people over in seconds. I adore everyone I meet — seriously, everyone — and I’ve lived happily with little kids (ages 2, 3, and 4). I’m gentle, patient, and always up for a cuddle or a game. I’m also great with other dogs, whether we’re playing, lounging, or exploring together. Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so I’m still figuring out how I feel about them. I’m a total sweetheart, but I do have one quirk: if you open a door without paying attention, I might slip out for a spontaneous adventure. I don’t mean any harm — I just love exploring. A fenced yard or someone who keeps an eye on me would be perfect. If you’re looking for a loving, goofy, loyal companion who’s ready to join your family and maybe steal your heart (and occasionally your open doorway), I’m your guy.

Hi there! My name is Davey and I am a 6-year-old male Shepherd mix. I was saved from a high kill shelter in South Carolina and have been in search of my forever family ever since. So, if you are looking for an outgoing and affectionate companion, then I’m your boy. With Davey, what you see is what you get – a friendly and playful boy who loves everyone he meets. He will never turn down games of fetch, taking adventurous walks, or just lounging around while receiving belly rubs. Davey adores his humans and is up for anything, as long as he gets to spend time with you. Davey is a pack dog at heart and does well with most dogs he meets when given the proper introductions. You should also know that Davey is a great traveler and rides well in the car, so taking him along on outings is a breeze. He is also house trained and knows commands like sit, shake, down, and come. We love Davey very much and we want more than anything for him to find his forever family. Please submit an application to meet me in person!**My name is Meeka, and I’m a young German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger desire to belong to someone special. I came to Animal Ark after my previous family was deported and could no longer care for me. They made sure I arrived safe, loved, and with a good start in life, and now I’m hoping for a new beginning. I’m a growing girl with an enthusiastic spirit. Playful, active, and full of puppy joy — that’s me. I adore children, I get along well with other dogs, and I’m friendly with cats too, though sometimes my eagerness to make friends can be a bit much for them. I’ve even learned to ring a bell when I need to go outside, which I’m pretty proud of. Stuffed animals are my favorite treasures, but honestly, if it squeaks, bounces, or can be carried around, I’m all in. More than anything, I’m looking for a family who’s ready for a loyal, energetic companion who will grow up right by their side. If you’re dreaming of a furry friend who will greet you with a wagging tail, brighten your days, and love you with her whole heart, I’d be so excited to meet you.
