Story
Ghost is 2 years old and his birthday is in June. He is 80 pounds, a gentle giant of a puppy. He is an affectionate, playful, communicative pet. He is trained on different voice and hand commands like speak, shake, sit, stay and lay down. Ghost is kennel trained and house broken. We can include the large metal crate with his adoption. He need to be crated when let alone. Ghost loves toys, to play fetch, go on hikes and snuggling. He is up to date with all his shots and has Hannah as his insurance. We would be willing to transfer the insurance to the new owners. Ghost has been with us since he was born and we are sad to have to rehome him. We unfortunately had to downsize to an apartment and are expecting our 2nd child. Ghost needs a yard to run and someone that has more time to give him that he deserves. We are heartbroken to have to rehome him but it is what is best for him.

Story
His will be 3 in July of 2026 but he is our big gentle giant of a puppy. He is well behaved but can be skittish around new people but doesn't take long to warm up. Super sweet boy that needs a place to play and someone to love. If he isnt adopted by March we will have to have him put down since we can no longer take care of him.

Story
Hi there: Her name is SASHA, a healthy and beautiful 3 year old Siberian Husky. Well cared for, trained and loved - unfortunately she now needs a new home. We are a couple who at 81 and 86 can no longer provide the activity she enjoys. Raised with a male cat with whom she enjoys a developing camaraderie, we are sure she will brighten your day. She is welcoming to strangers. She travels very well in the car, even on long outings (quiet as a mouse) and enjoys daily walks and will be a great companion to all in her new home. She is energetic and yet trained — a super dog! Sasha has enjoyed excellent care and will be missed by us. Knowing that she has a good home and will be well cared for is really paramount. Details: We obtained her from the Newberg Animal Shelter in, September 2024. She had been at the Washington County Shelter, and no details about her were reported; she was listed as a Stray. Determined to have been born approx. August 1, 2022. She has been spayed.

**All dogs are by appointment only, please inquire through Petfinder, Adopt-a-pet, Rescueme.org or e-mail us directly at shelter@hbpets.org for the dogs questionnaire*** Hi, I am Max, approx. 4yrs old, neutered male, German Shepard/Husky Mix. My old owner took wonderful care of me, but their lives changed, and I found myself at this amazing shelter, who have taken wonderful care of me. The shelter team is shocked I have been here a year, waiting for my new owner. They want you to know that I know all the basic commands, I rarely jump, I am a 100% housebroken, my energy level is laid-back, I love walking the field everyday with the team, I love to play with the toys briefly, but I am not longer full of that young energy. I love dogs, but I don't want to live with them (I am possessive over toys with other dogs), nor cats. I love all adult and children, I am a gentle giant, who wants a real home with a comfy bed. My adoption fee is $200
