My old owner took wonderful care of me, but their lives changed, and I found myself at this amazing shelter, who have taken wonderful care of me. The shelter team is shocked I have been here a year, waiting for my new owner. They want you to know that I know all the basic commands, I rarely jump, I am a 100% housebroken, my energy level is laid-back, I love walking the field everyday with the team, I love to play with the toys briefly, but I am not longer full of that young energy. I love dogs, but I don't want to live with them (I am possessive over toys with other dogs), nor cats. I love all adult and children, I am a gentle giant, who wants a real home with a comfy bed. If you are looking for a great companion, Lulu would be one! At 9 years, Lulu is old enough to be sensible, but young enough to enjoy an active lifestyle. Lulu is a spayed German Shepherd/Rottweiler/Mastiff mix. She is always ready to go and do whatever you are doing! She has a warm and loving personality towards people and perfect house manners. She loves going for walks and does well on a leash. Although not a ball fanatic, she does enjoy playing catch. She loves to have a job! Lulu is treat motivated, and is very smart and trainable. She is healthy, current on her vaccinations (her medical records go with her), is licensed with Washington County, OR and microchipped. Lulu will need to be an only dog in a home with a large fenced yard. She is protective of her people and her place. We are looking for a new home for her as unfortunately she has harassed livestock and has been aggressive to our older dog. It is with great sorrow that we need to find her a new home.

- Estimated to be about 4 years old, 45-50 lbs. - Shepherd and maybe cattle dog mix? - Spayed. - Very smart and sweet girl once she is comfortable with you. Warms up to women/females faster than men. - Athletic and active. She will thrive with some kind of job or multiple rounds of fetch! - She is also happy to lay down near you or next to you and get in on those belly rubs and pets! - When she was staying at boarding, I was told she saw cats and didn't seem to mind them. We don't have cats at home so I can't speak to our experience. - Working on her leash manners. She's not the worst puller, but we are working on preventing her from barking at other dogs while on a walk.

Millie loves playing with many of our dogs here, she has learned so much and is becoming a brave girl, it does take her time to warm up to people. She loves other dogs, from Pitbulls to huskies to German Shepard's to little terriers, smaller to larger, he loves them all. She would flourish in a home with another dog who is brave, confident and gentle in nature. From her adopter she needs patience, time for her to acclimate, a fenced backyard, no young kids or loud adults, her hoarding home was very loud with over 15 dogs and a lot of people. She just needs a chance a gentle human and dog buddy, like she has here with us. My adoption fee is $250
