Story
Benny is 2.8 yrs old. He is a husky, German shepherd, Australian shepherd mix. So lots of energy and very headstrong. He is a very active, full of energy dog. Loves to run, play & constantly be with his person or people. Very loving and protective of his people. However, he doesn’t do well with new people. Fiercely protects his property. Growls and hates new people in his space. Must be allowed to approach you when he’s ready & once you’re accepted he’s your best friend. Does well with kids and loves other dogs at the dog park. Very full of energy. Never tires! Know commands come, sit, drop it, leave it. Whether he chooses to respect those commands depends on what mood he’s in. Really a good dog for someone single or a couple as he loves all the attention. Only rehoming him because we have an unexpected move and he can’t come with us. Experienced handler is a must!

** PA Foster/Adopter Needed!   Meet Buddy:  Buddy is a friendly Husky/Pyrenees/Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix that is approximately 1.5 years old (as of January 2026) and weighs 90 pounds. Buddy was found as a stray in a MS subdivision going from house to house looking for someone to help him. Thankfully he walked up to the right home and the family brought him into their home until he found a foster in PA. Buddy is being fostered in the Pottstown, PA area while he waits for his forever family to come get him. Buddy is very friendly and loves people. Buddy loves being outside either alone or with another dog. He plays nicely with his furry foster sisters, one his size and the other half his size, but does not like male dogs. We recommend no small dogs or small children because Buddy plays hard and does not realize his size. Buddy is your typical Husky/Pyrenes mix. He is very intelligent but has a stubborn side too. He knows a few commands – sit, down, paw, and look. Buddy will need additional patience and training as he continues to learn not to jump up and hug you to say hello, walk nicely on a leash, and not to counter surf. Buddy's Pyrenes and Husky show though the most as he guards the home and occasionally howls as Huskies do.  Buddy is crate trained and has not had one accident in the home. In the evening, he settles and hangs out with his human and other dogs in the home. Buddy definitely needs a fenced in yard and a family that is very active. Buddy is up to date on all his shots and neutered. Meet Aja (pronounced like Asia): Aja is about a 13 week old (as of May 29, 2026) husky / shepherd mix (best guess) that weighs about 19 pounds. Aja was given to our colleague in Holly Springs, MS by a local resident without much background or information. Aja is now safe and being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Aja is a sweet little girl with a typical puppy personality. Aja alternates between playing and sleeping and shares love and affection. As a puppy, Aja will need some patience while she works on her house training. We would love for Aja to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Aja is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate. Meet Ace: Ace is estimated to be about a 3 year old (as of December 2025) husky / pittie mix (best guess) that weighs 57 pounds. Ace entered our rescue when his elderly owner was hospitalized and couldn't care for him any longer. Ace is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Ace is super friendly and super energetic. Ace loves to meet new people and is very social. Ace likes to be active and could do really well with training to stimulate his mind and harness his energy. Ace loves to go for car rides. Ace likes to play with toys. Ace is affectionate and eager to please. Ace does well with other dogs and cats. Ace is house trained and crate trained. We would love for Ace to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely. Ace is up to date on his shots and neutered.
