Story
Blu is a handsome, friendly boy who's ready to find a loving family to call his own. Surrendered through no fault of his own, Blu is looking for an active home that can provide him with the exercise and enrichment he thrives on. His previous family reported that he experiences some anxiety when left alone for long periods, so he'll do best with adopters who can help him build confidence, work on his independence, or simply have a schedule that doesn't require him to be alone for extended stretches. Here at the shelter, Blu has been a favorite with everyone he's met. He's affectionate, social, and always happy to make new friends. With the right family, plenty of activity, and a little patience as he settles into his new routine, Blu is sure to become a loyal and loving companion. If you're looking for a friendly adventure buddy with a big heart, Blu may be the perfect match! 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Butters is an approximately 3-year-old large mixed-breed dog who is house trained, crate trained, fully obedience trained, off-leash trained, and loves other dogs. She is affectionate, playful, and thrives on routine.Butters can be anxious around strangers and unfamiliar situations. She has also shown jealousy/resource-guarding behaviors with our other dog when attention or treats were involved, so she would do best with an experienced owner who understands these behaviors and can provide structure and consistency.Since welcoming our newborn, it has become clear that we can no longer provide the time and attention she needs to thrive. Our goal is to find a patient, loving home where she can be successful.
