Hi, I’m Kibble! I’m a sweet, gentle puppy who just wants to be near my people as much as possible. I love carrying my toys around the house and sometimes I even whine with happiness because I’m just so excited to be with you. I really enjoy running around a big fenced yard, and while new things inside the house can make me feel a little unsure at first, I’m curious and learning more every day. I’m still a baby, so I need all my basic puppy training—housebreaking, crate, leash, and manners—but I’m smart, food-motivated, and eager to please. I do best with a calm, structured routine and patient humans who can help me work through some anxiety, especially when I’m alone or settling down at night. My favorite thing in the world is affection—pets, scratches, hugs, cuddles, playtime… all of it! I have a medium energy level, love to play and run, and then happily relax for naps. I’m going to grow into a big dog with an even bigger heart, and I can’t wait to become someone’s loyal, loving companion.

Diesel 9 years old Absolutely wonderful with kids. Depending on the other dog he’s ok. Needs a lot of attention that I no longer can give him with working two jobs. He constantly tearing things up and instead of opting for his toys and bones he goes after trash cans and wicker baskets. We have a Boston Terrier Pug whom Diesel had bit in the ear most likely playfully mistaken but then had been infected. The shots he has a record from Petco but may need updated soon. At this point he is costing me more than I can afford and he’s also not getting the right attention he needs. Looking for a home where he can be catered to for the remainder of his life. Good dog with bad habits and the adopter will need tons of patience.

Get a load of Gohan! This gentleman was surrendered to the shelter due to health issues with the previous owner. Gohan can be anxious in novel situations, and asks that any children in the home be 3 and older. He has previously lived with kids, and is reported to be affectionate and protective, as well as a rough player. He has had some crate training and is housebroken aside from some instances of separation anxiety. He is open to possibly living with other dogs as well as dog-savvy cats (he may give chase) with proper introduction. Meet Knox. Our best friend, our protector, our own personal nut case. Knox is a good dog who has a colorful past. He was locked in a cage throughout the majority of his puppy years by previous owners. Thus, he knew no manners when we took him in. We got him trained by state-line canine and he got better. He is a very high-drive, treat loving boy. He needs lots of attention and exercise. This is NOT a city dog nor an apartment dog. He needs an owner who is prepared to be consistent with him and give him the love and attention he needs. He does okay with other dogs, but would be better in an only dog situation. I will need to screen the adopter before they take him, as this dog deserves more than another mediocre owner. He needs a loving family who will designate him as part of the family as we did. Unfortunately, he is just not the right dog for our family and our situation. Come meet him and see what this boy could mean for you and your family.
