Story
Blu is a handsome, friendly boy who's ready to find a loving family to call his own. Surrendered through no fault of his own, Blu is looking for an active home that can provide him with the exercise and enrichment he thrives on. His previous family reported that he experiences some anxiety when left alone for long periods, so he'll do best with adopters who can help him build confidence, work on his independence, or simply have a schedule that doesn't require him to be alone for extended stretches. Here at the shelter, Blu has been a favorite with everyone he's met. He's affectionate, social, and always happy to make new friends. With the right family, plenty of activity, and a little patience as he settles into his new routine, Blu is sure to become a loyal and loving companion. If you're looking for a friendly adventure buddy with a big heart, Blu may be the perfect match! 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Sora is a sweet Husky mix who was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for her, but once she's away from the noise and commotion, her true personality begins to shine. In our play yards, Sora is playful, affectionate, and enjoys spending time with the people she trusts. We believe Sora could do well in a home with a friendly, laid-back canine companion who prefers a relaxed lifestyle over constant play. More than anything, Sora is looking for a loving family where she can leave the stress of shelter life behind and enjoy the comfort, stability, and affection she deserves. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Meet Mamas🤍🐾 This sweet girl is a beautiful Siberian Husky and she is in urgent need of a new, loving furever home. My name is Noelle, my cousin is her owner and she is unable to give Mamas the proper love and care she needs and deserves. I would take her in a heartbeat if my hands weren’t already full with my two German Shepherds and two cats. Some more to know about Mamas: She is believed to be about 5 years old. She sadly came from an abusive owner and backyard breeder. She is currently not up to date on vaccines but I will be trying to get that taken care of. She has an undiagnosed eye condition that is causing vision issues. A husky rescuer I spoke with believes it could be cataracts which would require surgery to prevent further complications. She has accidents inside occasionally especially overnight. She is great with children and other dogs. She also would do fine with cats. With time, dedication and proper training I believe Mamas could be the best girl.

Story
Say hi to Noodle! This little husky puppy ended up at the shelter as a stray, and is now ready to find his furever home. He was not in the best shape when he came in, dirty and underweight. He has endured neglect that no puppy should ever experience. He is now safe, comfortable, and will have a full belly every day. He has a big personality and now is the time for training so he grows into a well-mannered adult. He is open to possibly living with other animals as well as kids of all ages with proper introductions. Noodle deserves a loving home and he hopes it could be with you!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. Story
Hey I`m Buddy. I sadly had to come to the shelter as my owner passed away, but I`d love to live out my golden years in a warm loving home. I`m a senior dog but I still have some spunk in me and have a playful side. I can be a little sensitive for handling and can take some time to get comfortable with new people. I would Ideally like to be in an adult only home. I am open to living with another dog with a proper introduction here at the shelter. I haven`t been around cats before but am open to try with a slow intro in the home. If I feel like a good fit for your home please come down to the shelter and lets meet!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. Story
Meet our happiest boy, Prince! He enjoys long walks and playing in the yard with his human and dog pals! Stuffed animals are his favorite toys! Prince does well with other dogs. He has no history with cats, though he may do best without cats due to his breed. He would do best with older children due to his exuberance at times! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. He is available for foster or adoption at the Pet Pantry's second facility in Lancaster. If you think she may be the perfect match for your family please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available online at petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch!July 31, 2026, 4:48 pm

Story
Hi. I'm Balto. I'm a 9-year-old Malamute, which means I come equipped with luxurious floof, dramatic vocal abilities, and approximately zero indoor voice. If something happens, you'll hear about it. Mailman? Opinion. Squirrel? Opinion. Dinner five minutes late? STRONGLY worded opinion. I'll admit... sometimes my excitement gets the best of me. I jump. I get mouthy. I forget that I'm built like a small bear instead of a lap dog. I'm working on it, okay? Self-improvement is a journey. So, here's the deal: I'm looking for humans who can help me be the best version of myself. Give me structure, consistency, and training, and I'll give you unwavering loyalty, endless entertainment, and enough fur to knit another Malamute. Tiny humans? I'd prefer older kids who won't get accidentally bulldozed when I get excited. Other dogs? Maybe! Let's have a proper meet-and-greet first. Cats and small critters? Hard pass. I believe they move suspiciously fast, and I feel it's my civic duty to investigate. Life hasn't always been easy for me, but I'm ready for my next chapter. If you're looking for a dog with personality the size of Alaska, a built-in conversation partner, and a best friend who's equal parts goofy, lovable, and wonderfully ridiculous... I might just be your guy. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go tell someone that a leaf blew across the parking lot. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Dust Bunny is proof that the best treasures are sometimes hiding under the couch. Found as a stray, her past is a mystery, but she's already showing us what a sweet girl she is. She walks nicely on a leash, happily accepts tasty treats, and loves soaking up affection from people she trusts. With patience, love, and the chance to adjust at her own pace, we're confident her true personality will shine. If you're looking for a gentle companion to watch blossom, Dust Bunny might just be the perfect addition to your home. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Squid is a sweet guy who's come a long way since arriving at the shelter. Found as a stray, he was very nervous when he first came in, but with time and patience, he's started to show us his playful and affectionate personality. While Squid may be a little unsure of new people at first, once he knows you, you'll see what a fun-loving companion he can be. He enjoys attention, playtime, and spending time with his favorite people. He can get a little mouthy during excitement, so he would love a family committed to helping him learn good manners and continue growing into the best version of himself. Squid has not shown positive reactions to other dogs here at the shelter, so we believe he would be happiest as the only dog in the home. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs someone willing to give him a chance, Squid is ready to show you how much love he has to give! 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537
