This clever 7 year old German Shepherd mix survived on her own, wary of people and trusting no one. That is, until one patient and kind resident slowly earned her trust. And one day she walked inside. 💛 That was the moment Marge discovered something life changing. Humans are not so bad after all. Now this resilient girl has blossomed into a sweet companion who is learning what love, comfort, and safety truly feel like. After spending years fending for herself, she is finally ready to find what she has never had before. A real family. - What Marge Needs • A secure, fenced yard where she can feel safe and explore • A patient and loving family willing to continue building her confidence • A home without small children, as she is still a little jumpy around tiny humans • Commitment to her care. She is heartworm positive, but we will cover the full cost of treatment. Her forever family simply needs to make sure she gets to her appointments. At 7 years old, Marge is not looking for chaos. She is looking for comfort. Soft beds. Gentle voices. People who will show her that she never has to survive on her own again. She's kennel trained and is doing well with her leash practice.
