Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. Little Candy came to us as a puppy but she seems to have been treated very badly. She was roaming the streets for several days with a broken off chain around her neck and totally terrified. With lots of cheese and patience, one of our street rescuers was able to safe her. She's still very afraid of the world and she will need a calm household with yard access. Candy likes other dogs and we think, that another dog would help her come out of her shell. She's absolutely beautiful and precious as you can see in the pictures! Will you help us, give Candy a nice childhood from now on and a happy life? Basic requirements for Candy's home are an adult household with yard and a compatible dog companion for Candy. Story
Maya is the sweetest dog we’ve ever met, and we can only really write good things about her. To start, she’s very cuddly, and extremely friendly to whichever person she meets. Maya’s hobbies include: sunbathing, playing, and she loves to be active, always up for a walk or a run with her owner. She’s about 2 years old. She’s moved around quite a bit, so we’re hoping she finds some stability in her new owners, who preferably have some running and playing room in their living space for this lovely dog. She gets along well with kids and dogs, though she might get rowdy due to excitement, so make sure you can keep up with her! We have kept her vaccines up to date while she finds her new home. In any emergencies, me and my daughter are willing to babysit Maya whenever. Thank you!
