Story
Millie is a typical fun-loving Husky with plenty of personality! She loves to sing the Husky song and, like many Huskies, she’s always keeping an eye out for her next great adventure. She is an escape artist when left unsupervised, so her new family will need to be committed to keeping her safely contained. So far, she has done well in our 6-foot chain-link fencing for short periods of time. Millie is said to be dog friendly, but she is far too interested in cats to be considered safe around them. She seems to do well in her kennel and may already be housetrained. Millie is spayed, microchipped, and has received DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations If you’re looking for a fun, talkative, adventurous Husky who will keep you entertained, Millie might be your girl!

Story
Milford was found as a stray and, sadly, no one came to reclaim him. Now he’s looking for someone to give him the second chance he deserves! This lovable hunk enjoys attention and being around people. So far, he has been a very good neighbor, mostly ignoring the other dogs around him. He does need some work on a leash but seems to be taking everything in stride as he adjusts to shelter life. We’re still getting to know Milford and will update his profile as we learn more about his personality and what he’s like in different situations. Milford has received his DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations, is microchipped, and heartworm negative and on prevention. Milford is scheduled to be neutered 9/15. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing big guy to get to know, come meet Milford!

Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Pocket came in as a stray alongside Polly and has been a sweetheart since day one. She’s full of happy, bouncy energy and is always excited to meet new people. Pocket is good with dogs and strangers and enjoys being around people. She walks on a leash but does tend to pull, so she would benefit from some continued leash training. She does well being crated, is comfortable with grooming, and rides nicely in the car. Pocket was doing well with potty training in her previous environment, but she’s not perfect yet and may need a little consistency as she adjusts to a new home. She has a lot of energy and absolutely loves playtime, but once she’s had a chance to burn it off, she’s happy to settle down for some snuggles. Pocket does enjoy jumping up for attention, so a family ready to help her learn some manners would be a great fit. She does not do well with cats. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and currently on prevention—ready to head home!
