Jolene is a 3 year old husky/shepherd mix. She is sweet, smart, and energetic. She knows basic commands, is potty trained and crate trained. She does require a daily walk or game of fetch. She is a bit skittish and we think it’s best to find her a home with older kids that can understand her need for space. We do have another dog who she gets along with great.

Story
Ghost is a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix (turning 7 on March 26th), about 80 lbs. We’ve had him since he was 3 months old and are heartbreakingly rehoming him due to changes in our living and financial situation. He was the runt of the litter and has grown into a loyal, protective, and loving companion. Ghost thrives with a large yard and cooler weather but is also a spoiled indoor dog. He is loyal and protective, only barking when someone is near the home. He’s been around children his whole life and has never bitten anyone, but does best when new people let him approach at his own pace.He is reactive to other dogs and should be the only dog in the home. He has lived with a house cat but has not accepted new cats. Ghost knows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, shake both paws) sheds a lot, and is a picky eater but eats dry food well. He needs a patient, loving home where he can be someone’s devoted companion.

Reese (female) & Rolo (male) are 10 week old Husky/Aussie mixes.  Reese currently weighs about 11 lbs. & Rolo is about 12 lbs. & we're guessing that they'll be about 50 lbs., full grown.  These puppies are friendly but they are very energetic.  They will be starting leash & crate training soon.  If you're interested in adopting either Reese or Rolo call Friends for Animals 817-326-3647 to set up a meet/greet appt. &/or ask any questions you might have.  Phones are answered Noon-3 pm Tues., Thur., Fri. & Sat.  Please call before you visit to ensure either Reese or Rolo is available for adoption.April 26, 2026, 8:50 am

Amok is a very loving and sweet big boy!! He love to play catch and tug of war. I hate to have to regime him but I will be moving he cannot come with. He has had only 2 owners. The owner before me was a retired police officer who was recently divorced and could not keep him. I have had him now for 3 years he is 4 years old. Serious inquiries only please.
