Story
Meet Lik-a-Stix, a 4-year-old male German Shepherd mix who's ready to leave his stray days behind and find a loving home. 💙🐶 This handsome guy was found as a stray and came into care a bit underweight, so he's currently looking for a family willing to give him a little extra TLC, good meals, and lots of love while he gets back to feeling his best. 🍖✨Lik-a-Stix is friendly and affectionate with people and enjoys attention. One of his favorite things is leaning into his humans for pets and soaking up the love. He can be okay with other dogs, though he tends to be a bit dominant when greeting. After the initial introduction, he has shown that he can settle and share space, but he may be reactive at times. Because of this, he would likely do best with a calm, polite dog companion who respects boundaries. 🐕Due to being intense around food, a home with kids 10 and up would be the best match for him. He will also need a home without cats. 🚫🐱Lik-a-Stix would benefit from a breed-experienced adopter who understands shepherd mixes and can provide structure, guidance, and continued confidence building. With the right person, he has all the potential to become a loyal and devoted companion. 🐕‍🦺If you're looking for a smart, affectionate dog who just needs a little stability and care to thrive, Lik-a-Stix might be the perfect fit for your home. 🏡💙 Primary Color: White Weight: 47 Age: 4yrs 0mths 2wks
