Story
True to his name, Amazing Majestic Face is a showstopper! This stunning 3-year-old Husky is as majestic as they come, with piercing eyes and a personality to match. He's great with other dogs but prefers mealtime to be a solo act, so he's looking for a home with kids aged 10+ who can respect his boundaries. As a typical Husky, Majestic is full of energy, incredibly intelligent, and known for his vocal talents. He thrives on adventure and mental stimulation, so he'll need an active adopter who can keep up with his zest for life. However, his high energy and anxiety mean he's not a fit for apartment living-he needs space to run and play in a secure environment.Majestic is looking for a forever home with someone who understands the unique needs of his breed, including his independence and occasional stubbornness. If you're ready for an amazing companion with a truly majestic face, he's waiting to meet you! 🌟 Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 48 Age: 3yrs 0mths 4wks

Story
Meet Piñata 🎉🐾 a sweet but shy husky mix who's looking for a patient and understanding adopter to help her thrive. Piñata takes her time warming up to new people, so she'll need someone who can give her the space and gentle encouragement she needs to feel safe and loved. Piñata is still working on her socialization with other dogs, so she'd do best with a calm, patient dog friend who will allow her to take things at her own pace.Piñata's new home should be one where her adopter is familiar with her breed's anxiety and escape artist tendencies. She would also do best in a home with kids 10 years or older, due to her shyness. If you're experienced with this type of dog and are willing to provide a calm, patient environment, Piñata could be the perfect addition to your family. With time and the right guidance, she'll surely blossom into a loving and loyal companion!Email christy.hemsworth@rva.gov if you are interested in meeting Piñata today. Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission. Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Tully is a mixed breed rescue who has been living in his current home for about 6 years. We are going through some life changes including medical and housing changes, which is why we are looking to rehome. Tully has lived with many different dogs during his life as we have had dogs stay in the home for pet-sitting. On leash, Tully has some dog and people reactivity, but is currently working with a trainer to improve these behaviors. The same trainer is open to helping Tully transition to a new home and continue to work on these behaviors with his new owners. Tully loves trips to new places, and has experience riding in a motorcycle side car (but has never been on the road) as well as a few sessions getting him used to balancing on a kayak. He is a very playful boy, and even at his age still very high energy. He has a crate, dog bed, collar, harness, leash and "place" cots that will go with him. He has had leg surgeries in the past, but they do not slow him down.

Story
Rufus is 6 years old his birthday is June 2, 2018 and he’s about 50 pounds. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old, he is the best dog you could ask for honestly. He is 100% potty trained, he doesn’t chew things, he’s very gentle but has plenty of energy. He is very good with small kids and is friendly to all of our guests. It hurts my heart to have to rehome him but we currently have two small children and are just unable to give him the love and attention he deserves at this time. We also do not have space or the funds to take care of him the way he deserves. The only downside is how much he sheds. He really deserves the best family that will give him nothing but love and treats.
