Story
Location Southern California. Transports available, short & long distance. (If this ad is running the dog is available.) Vega is a 2yo unique-looking mix. A very sweet, mellow and calm boy who loves everyone - people and dogs of all sizes. (Cat compatibility unknown, but the dog has an overall calm and easy going demeanor).. He was rescued from a highest kill Apple Valley shelter 5 minutes before being mercilessly killed for space. A place where No Life Matters! He was one of the lucky ones and is very grateful which he shows every day with his unconditional love, kindness and devotion. Vega is very well behaved. A little shy in a new or busy environment why he would do best in a quiet home with some yard space for him to lounge instead of frequent leash walks. A busy city life or lifestyle is Not a good for him. Needs confidence build up with a patient person who has plenty of time to spend with him.. He would make an excellent BFF companion dog. He is very people oriented, affectionate and it’s impossible not to like this beautiful boy. All he needs is a right setting to integrate into his new life. He is microchipped, vaccinated and already neutered. Story
Meet Redford, an 8 yr old medium sized pooch at 43 lbs. Redford was just saved from a local kill shelter on his last day. This older boy has a second chance at life and he'd love to meet you. In the shelter Redford struggled. He paced, he was anxious, he was aloof. He was temperament tested with an older female dog and staff finally saw him wag his tail. Now he is out of the shelter, we want to see him have love in his life, and know what it is like to be a cherished pet. Redford appears to be an independent dog, but as he is just leaving the shelter, we look forward to learning more from his rescue about his personality. If you can give an older dog a fresh start and wish to long term foster or adopt, please inquire for an application.

Story
'Frosty' Shiba Inu/Chihuahua X 12 lbs, 12 year oldMeet sweet little Frosty, whose eyes make you want to melt: please pick me up, take me home and give me the love I want to give you! Frosty weighs 12 pounds and is 10 or 11 years old. He has a quiet, calm presence, and rarely barks, even when the doorbell rings. He will do best in a home where he is the only pet since he doesn’t like to share his human with other animals. He would be “fantastic,” says his foster mom, “with an owner who wants a little companion.” Frosty needs more practice with leash walking and apparently has never been allowed on furniture. He gets frightened when put on beds or other elevated surfaces and jumps down quickly. His foster mom loves his big eyes, his little bear-like face, and the loving attention he gives her all day long. We know you will fall in love with him, too, and hope you come to take him to the forever home he craves and deserves. Frosty is a very special little dog with much to give. He only asks that you give him love and warmth and comfort in return.
