Unlike younger Shibas, Kiara doesn’t have the intense puppy energy or training challenges — she’s already house-trained, respectful, and easy to care for. She enjoys daily walks, being near her people, and relaxing in a cozy spot at home. Her temperament is stable, predictable, and trustworthy, which is rare for this breed and a huge advantage for adopters who want a smooth transition. Kiara is up to date on vaccinations and has no known major health issues. Our once shy puppy girl Roxie has grown into a playful canine socialite!! Sharing adventures and new experiences with fellow dogs has enabled her to unleash her inner puppy!! Roxie can play all day with her dog pals.. trail blaze in a pack on long leashes.. nose to the ground and her curly little tail high and waggy! Once completely shut down and cowering in corners, "foxy Roxie" now chases balls.. and often returns them except in the event she gets side tracked by the sight of a whirring ball tossed for another dog .. and off she goes to join the chase! One of her favorite games involves the hose.. on any setting! Roxie bites and snaps the out pouring water no matter what setting its on jet, shower or mist! She also kinda plays jump rope and repeatedly runs into the water spray full on.. getting drenched and loving's every moment!! Roxie has a number of unique and highly entertaining moves in her play style .. she actually bounces.. kangaroo style.. also literally leaps over her mates .. even those quite a bit taller than she is.. Roxie like a lot of dogs is really into rolling and somehow manages to roll in tandem with her pals .. almost as if merged into one dog! She's got great play etiquette.. smoothly moves from running chase games to prone mouth wrestling.. to sharing a drink at the water bucket and then lounging comfortably for a rest before it all starts again! When Adogs staff visited the shelter, they were so moved by the puppies wagging their tails that they decided to rescue the entire litter. 3️⃣ Personality & Traits * Interaction with People: He is curious about humans but quite timid, so he doesn't usually approach first. Please approach him slowly, as sudden movements may startle him. He shows curiosity and sniffs people who are sitting or have their backs turned. Occasionally, he will come close on his own to take treats. * Interaction with Dogs: He gets along well with his friends at the center. Rather than playing energetically, he prefers to relax and rest. He may snap as if he would warn other dogs if there is food or treats involved. * Interaction with Cats: He watches and tries to chase cats. However, during walks, he is usually too tense to chase them even if he sees one. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he is currently living in a group environment. He may require training when transitioning to a home life. * Potty Training: He currently only relieves himself outdoors. He exhibits marking behavior during walks and outdoor time. * Grooming/Hygiene: He tends to avoid physical touch, so we are working on this very slowly and patiently. * Walking/Leash Skills: Thanks to training at a school and consistent walks with volunteers, he walks very well. However, because he is easily startled, a double-leash is mandatory for safety. He tends to pull slightly to maintain distance from the person walking him. He may try to dart away if startled by people or passing cars. * Mouthing/Biting: He may show mouthing or snapping behavior if forced to do something against his will. * Barking: He rarely barks. * Likes: He loves treats! Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped. 2.) Rescue Story * Taeyeon was brought to the Gimje City Shelter with her sibling when she was a puppy. Unfortunately, her sibling passed away due to parvovirus, leaving Taeyeon alone at the shelter. Adogs stepped in and rescued her. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is still not fully comfortable with human touch. Tends to bark at unfamiliar people and avoid being petted. It would be better to give her time to adjust at her own pace. * With Dogs: Gets along very well with other dogs at our center without any issues. * Separation Anxiety: Since she has never been alone, her reaction to being alone is unknown. * Potty Training: Does only pottying outdoors at our center. Would need to be trained from the start if adopted. * Walks: Is still wary, so she tends to be on guard during walks. * Grooming: Accepted grooming well at a dog training school. However, her reaction is not exactly confirmed as she hasn't experienced grooming at our center. * Car Sickness: Rides very well without motion sickness. * Biting: Tends to bite defensively when people try to touch her. * Barking: Is still awkward and scared of people, so she barks when seeing them.
