Story
Hi, I'm Marshmallow. I've been in foster for a bit now and am really starting to show my true colors. I came from an unfortunate breeding situation, so I didn't know a lot about being in a home or being a loved member of a family. And while I've come pretty far, I still have a ways to go to truly trust humans and be comfortable with things that go on in a home. I'm still very easily startled by loud, unexpected and new noises, so being around little kids is not ideal for me. I would really like a fun doggy sibling in my forever home, but could do ok if my humans are home more often than not in lieu of a doggy buddy (but I shouldn't live with cats). I prefer to hang out in my kennel but am getting more curious every day and venture out more and more to check in on what my foster family is doing. I do a really good job sleeping through the night and I'm potty-trained. I love going for walks and get super excited to go outside! I looooove to sneakily take and store things in my kennel. My foster family has found many random things in there, but I don't get mad when they reclaim their stuff. My favorite game is keepaway - so my new family will have to be pretty agile and should not expect me to be much of a cuddler. This is likely due to my upbringing but also could be because I'm a shiba. My family will definitely need to know about my breed or being willing to learn everything they can about the shiba breed. Ask to meet me today!! Adoption fee: $400 All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Story
*Murray is part of our Take Time to Fall in Love Promotion. See our Adoption Procedures page for more details.* I’m always ready to go! As soon as I spot someone, I sit and stare at them with a big smile. It works pretty well. They kneel down, open the door and off we go. I love long walks, checking everything out. That’s a lot more fun than toys if you ask me. If the dog walker is talking to me, I always turn my head. I’m told I’m a pretty good listener and I always get some petting. Walking around, you also get to see who else is out there and what everyone is up too, that’s so much fun.

Story
Dakota is an energetic loving dog that needs a loving home. He loves to play fetch, go for walks, and snuggle. He has been with me for almost 14 years as I rescued him as a puppy. Our growing family has been a struggle for him as he doesn’t get the needed attention he needs. I hope for him to go to a loving home where someone will walk him and play with him as he deserves.
