Meet Tara, a purebred Shiba Inu with an orange coat, aged four years. She was born on an Amish farm and came to us at two months old, raised with love and care. Tara is an incredibly active, kind, and attentive dog. She's an excellent guard: calm at home, but active on walks and shows hunting instincts, catching hares. She has excellent health and appetite. She is looking for a new family who can give her enough time, attention, and ensure active walks. She gets along with other dogs, she is vaccinations , and is not spayed.She is an amazingly responsive and affectionate dog, whose heart is full of love, and she's ready to share it every day Unfortunately, due to a busy schedule, I am looking for new owners who will be able to qive her more time and attention than am able to

Zuko is two years old and is a big love bug! He loves his humans whether they're taking him on a long walk or lounging around on the couch. He will do almost anything for a little extra love or a treat. He is very content to just be close to those he loves. Zuko is nervous around new people and will hide when he is unsure of someone. After getting to know someone though, he is all about showing the love with kisses and the wiggliest of butts!He cannot be around other dogs or cats and would absolutely thrive as an only pet in a household where he would not have to share his humans! Our family has two additional dogs and two cats, and though we've worked extensively to make it work, he needs to be in a home without other animals. He would enjoy a fenced yard, but is used to going outside on a line. Currently, he is on an anxiety medication, but I could see him weaning off of it in the right environment. We know he will thrive in an environment that is more suited to his needs!

My name is Travey and I’m looking for my forever home! I’m just over 1 y.o. and I weigh 23 lbs. I came to my foster home in the Chicago area after I got loose, had a bit of a mis-adventure, and ended up in doggie jail. I haven't been at my foster home long, so I'm still adjusting. I love getting love and attention from foster mom and my favorite place to sleep is in bed with her! I'm super smart, eager to please, and learn quickly. I'm potty trained and do well in my crate when foster mom goes out (though I've been known to deploy the "Shiba scream" if I'm left all alone). I love treats, which helps motivate me to learn. I have mastered leash walking. I might pull if I see a squirrel or bunny that I want to chase (I've definitely got a high prey drive). I've also learned how to jump over gates that are supposed to contain me, so my forever family will need to be careful to prevent escapes. I'm a curious girl, but new things are hard for me. I'm suspicious of new people and will bark at them. I can be reactive to other dogs when I'm out on walks. I'll be fiercely loyal to my family and will need humans who have time to focus on me too. Because I did not have a great upbringing, I'll need a patient forever family who will commit to training and teaching me how to become a well-adjusted adult. My ideal forever home will be one with a securely fenced yard - no shared walls, since I can be vocal. I'd do best in a home with no cats or small pets, since I've got a high prey drive. I get along with most of the other dogs in my foster home, but can be dog-selective, so a laid-back, easy going dog friend would be best. Foster mom thinks I'd do okay with older children once I get to know them, but I'm not a good match for really little kids. I'm a healthy girl - spayed and vaccinated.
