Meet Laverne! Laverne was found matted and dirty. The lady holding her decided she didn't want to do that anymore and was going to let her loose! WHAT! One of our volunteers zipped over to her house and picked her and her buddy Lenny up. We are pretty sure Laverne was used for breeding. Poor girl was a hot mess! Laverne is all cleaned up and has had her medical done. She still had baby teeth that we pulled and an umbilical hernia that was fixed. Her hair is really short. She had to be shaved since she was so matted. She will need regular grooming, once her hair grows out. She is very sweet but a little shy at first. She is looking for a nice quiet home with lots of cuddle time. Laverne is spayed , UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX (tick/heartworm test) negative. Meet Tails! Tails was surrendered to our rescue with his siblings. His owners were no longer able to care for them. Mom is a Cattle dog and dad is a Shih Tzu! How did that happen!! Tails is a sweetheart! He Loves to snuggle and play with his siblings. He is a puppy! That means he does puppy stuff. He will need a patient family that can help him learn his manners! Tails is neutered, UTD on vaccines (needs 2 more), and microchipped. Tails is 3.5 months old and weighs 10 pounds. Meet Amy Rose! Amy Rose and her brothers were surrendered to our rescue. They family could not care for them any longer. Mom is a cattle dog and dad is a Shih Tzu. We are as perplexed as you on who that all went down! Amy Rose is the sweetest one of the bunch. She loves to snuggle and play with her brothers. She is a puppy! She will need help learning her manners and work on potty training. She has puppy energy too! Amy Rose is spayed, UTD on vaccines (needs two additional vaccines), and microchipped.
