Story
Jovie is such a fun girl. She loves to play ball and carry her ball around. She uses the dog door and will potty outside but also uses the pee pads still. IShe loves to play with all the dogs and will bark at them to play with her. She loves to cuddle. We have learned she can be fearful meeting new people and will sometimes nip. Food definitely helps with this and it doesn't take long for her to warm up to a stranger. She will paw at you and nibble your hands for attention so not sure about smaller kids. She doesn't shed at all. Treats seem a new thing for her and so we are working on gently taking them vs gobbling up your hand. Seriously adore this very happy (jovial 😊) girl she will make someone very happy!!!

Story
Dumpling is an adorable Shih Tzu Poodle/Schnauzer mixed girl who is loving and gentle. She is the sweetest most laid back little girl. She loves attention, walks on a leash and lives to snuggle. She came to us as a stray who was found running on the streets with another dog. No owner came forward for her. She is estimated to be 6 years old and weighs 14 lbs. she had her teeth cleaned and most of them were broken and they had to be extracted. She is very shy upon first meeting but warms up quickly. She will make a wonderful addition to almost any family. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained Dumpling is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Dumpling is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Dumpling’s adoption fee is $400 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!
