**being offered by family so he doesnt have to experience trauma of going into shelter or multiple foster homes** Introducing Ken a pretty boy with a very sweet personality. Non-shedding hair that grows long and will need regular grooming. Ken is neutered and received core vaccines. (new family will be responsible for rabies). His original family suffered a crisis that resulted in needing to part with Ken and their other dogs. (the other dogs will be listed also) Ken is ready for a loving family. He has only been around adults so we believe a home with older children is best. He has been crate trained and housebroken on a schedule. The adopting family must be patient, kind, & loving. Please know & understand the 3-3-3 rules of adopting and that dogs often need re-training when they move to a new environment.

Kobe is a longtimer in our rescue, and we couldn't tell you why?! We rescued him from a pretty terrible situation 3 years ago. He lived on a 25lb chain, outside, in the Arizona climate for his entire life. He's one of the sweetest and most affectionate, snuggly dogs in our rescue! He's good with dogs and people. Does well on a leash and is great in public! He's a small 20lbs, light enough to carry around like a koala bear! He does great with other dogs. He has been a resource guarder in the past, but we have worked through the vast majority of that habit. It most commonly involved him grabbing something hanging off the counter, or snatching something out of the trash, only lashing out if you went to physically pull him away from the object. He would snap but never would break the skin. It's only enough to give someone a little scare. It's a seamless process for us, however, his adopter will need to be willing to learn the protocols we use to keep everyone safe! We do not adopt any of our dogs out to people with young children (under 15), for the safety of our dogs. Not good with cats.
