We have had to make a life change and are now living in an apartment where she use to be in a home. It has been a harder transition that we had thought. Gracie has lived with George for the last 9 years and if they do not get rehoused together there will likely be a transition period, but she will adapt quickly with care. She is the sweetest girl and just would love some love and attention and then happy to lay next to you or on a bed nearby.

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog E:1  Barley is a mild senior poodle boy with a calm and steady demeanor looking for a forever home that understands that everything in moderation is the key to contentedness. He enjoys exploring in the yard, is indifferent to coexisting with other respectful small dogs, and walks well on leash at a moderate pace. Barley checks in regularly for gentle pets and affection although he currently prefers shoulder and back pets, as he is a little sensitive to hands approaching his head. As a senior poodle gentleman of distinction, he will need a quiet home, preferably adult-only (but dog savvy kids 13+ may be ok, definitely no young children for this boy) and people that understand his grooming needs. I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog D:7Okra is a 1-year-old, 59-pound poodle mix with a personality that shines. She’s smart, gentle, affectionate, energetic, and absolutely irresistible. With her floppy ears and adorable face, she oozes total doodly charm! She knows basic cues like sit and paw, takes treats gently, and loves squeaky toys almost as much as she loves cuddles. Okra walks beautifully on leash, though she may bark at other dogs. She can be a little nervous around them, and is still learning how best to interact. She might thrive as a solo pup, or perhaps with a well-matched canine friend.  This sweet girl is full of fun and love.
