Story
Bella is such a sweetheart! Calm and reserved nature when she gets to know you. Feed her and rub her belly and she’ll love you. She is a family dog from my early adult years and my family has relocated. I took her on my own but as life sways I must relocate to a place where she cannot join me. I am hoping to find a home for Bella that is welcoming to an older dog as she is currently 9 years old. Still very lively and loves to play I am sure she still has plenty of life left in her. Reach out to me preferably via email and I can reply back to any questions you may have.

Story
Meet Daffodil! Daffodil’s story began on the streets of Antioch, where she was found as a stray, heavily matted and in need of some serious TLC. But once she was cleaned up and shown a little love, her true personality bloomed — and she has been shining ever since. Just like her name, Daffodil is bright, sweet, and impossible not to adore. She loves to play and proudly carries her favorite toy everywhere she goes. She may nudge you for attention now and then, but that’s only because she has so much love to give. Daffodil is:• Crate trained• Potty trained• Well-behaved and eager to please• Smart and already knows “paw,” “sit,” “stay,” “crate,” and even “catch!”• Well-socialized and does great with her foster sibling Daffodil has proven she’s resilient, affectionate, and ready for a fresh start. She’s looking for a forever home where she can keep learning new tricks, playing with her toys, and soaking up all the love she deserves. If you’re ready for a loyal, loving companion whose personality has truly blossomed, Daffodil might just be your girl. All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit. Story
Rocco’s Personality Profile Social Butterfly: His love for other dogs and craving for attention makes him a great candidate for supervised doggy daycare or frequent park trips. Grooming Gold Star: Doing well with grooming is a huge win for a Shih Tzu mix, as their coats require significant upkeep. Student Athlete: He already knows "sit" and "paw"—since he’s food-motivated, he’ll likely pick up "lay down" or "roll over" very quickly. Engagement Ideas for Rocco Since he’s "very smart," he might get bored easily. Here are a few ways to channel that energy: Puzzle Feeders: Instead of a bowl, use a snuffle mat or a treat-dispensing toy. It turns mealtime into a game and rewards his intelligence. Advanced Tricks: Try teaching him "stay" or "spin." High-value treats (like small bits of plain chicken or freeze-dried liver) will make him a star pupil. Agility-Lite: Since he loves to play, even a small indoor tunnel or jumping over a low bar (like a broomstick) can be a fun way to burn energy. All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit. Story
His foster family reports: "It's quite accurate to describe him as a toe-biter since he is too small to reach our ankles!" Mocha is learning to nibble on his toys (and not toes) and is pretty consistent about using the puppy pad in his playpen. He is using a puppy pad due to the inclement weather and because he is very small and low to ground, it's incredibly hard to tell if he's actually going potty or not. He will cry if he has been without attention for too long or it's time for his next meal, though generally settles down in his playpen for quiet time and overnight. His family should be prepared to be committed and show him the ropes of being a pet--everything from potty training, what to chew and not to chew, and basic obedience. He's really enthusiastic about play, chase, and finding treats and he's shaping up to be quite the smart pup!    All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit.
