Hi, I’m Oreo! I’m a 2.5-year-old, 13 pound Shih Poo boy (that’s a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix). Think of me as the perfect combo of fluffy, smart, and absolutely FABULOUS! Let me tell you my story! I’m the friendliest, most loving guy you’ll ever meet, and I will literally follow you everywhere because being by your side is my favorite place to be. I’ve got house manners down to a science—I know to potty outside or on pee pads like the gentleman I am! I sleep in my own bed at night (I’m very independent like that!). I’m a foodie who never misses a meal and a road trip champion! When you pull out my harness? Oh boy, I go WILD with excitement because I know adventure is calling—whether it’s a walk around the block or a drive to somewhere new! I’m a toy enthusiast, though fair warning: stuffed toys don’t stand a chance (I just love them to pieces… literally! ). I can be a tiny bit nervous with loud noises, but nothing a little reassurance can’t fix. I love other dogs and want to play with them so a fellow doggie sibling would be great. I should do ok with kids too, and the jury’s still out on cats. Here’s the real talk: I bark when you leave because goodbyes are THE WORST and I miss you instantly! That’s why I need a house with understanding neighbors, not a condo. My foster Mom says I’m a great dog, and between you and me, she is 100% right! Ready for some Oreo magic in your life? Bubbles was born 5/14/25. She is outgoing and friendly. She LOVES everyone. She weighs 6 lbs. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. We are working on housetraining and leash walking. She is a very sweet and playful cuddle buddy. Adoption fee is 950.00. Located in the south. She was surrendered to rescue because she became too old to be sold in a store. There are no known health issues Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a  $20.00  donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. Please read the FAQ on our website for additional information. Adoption fees are cash or money order only.
