Rufus arrived at TJO in need of a haircut and a hot meal. He has been making friends with staff and volunteers since arrival and can't wait to get his own couch to Netflix and Chill on with his new besties.OTHER PETS: Rufus was not really interested in other dogs, but remained calm while around them. He would likely be good roommates with other dogs, as with all our adoptable dogs Rufus would need to meet any dogs he would be living with prior to adoption. [Likely (Must Meet First)] OWNER EXPERIENCE: [First Dog] KIDS: Rufus is very comfortable being handled and is very laid back, he would likely get along with any small humans. To ensure a good fit, Rufus should meet any minor humans he would be living with. [Likely] ACTIVITY LEVEL:Rufus enjoys socializing with people, playing with his toys, and snoozing. [Couch Potato] VETERINARY CARE: [Routine] LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: [Minimal] GROOMING: Rufus will need professional grooming every 3-4 months to ensure he remains comfortable and matt-free.
