I'm 1 old (DOB 11/13/2024) and I weigh 14.6 lbs. I'm white and black in color. I'm neutered, Rabies shot, all sets of puppy shots, 4DX tested and negative, and had Proheart shot that is good for 6 months preventing heartworm disease. I've been to the vet on 09/10/2025, microchipped and ready to get on with my life in a forever home of my own. I'm housetrained and I'm crate trained. I am good with other dogs, big and small, and children, non reactive with cats. I'm very friendly and sweet. I'm a very loving boy. I will stick to you like velcro. I just need a loving family to complete my forever home. I was given up because my owner could not afford the surgery I needed. My front legs were deformed and one had to be amputated and the other one had 2 toes removed. When I run, you cannot tell I have only have 3 legs. I'm all healed up now and would make a great family dog! He had been on the streets a long time by no fault of his own. Someone on a street in San Antonio knew him and his owner. His owner died and the family put poor ANDY on the streets. The neighbors felt sorry for him and would take turns feeding him. Once the winter got cold on a 26 degree night, a friendly neighbor put a sweater on him and allowed him to sleep in their gargage but that neighbor too tossed him back on the streets. Another neighbor could not stand it any longer and called me to take him in. It took 2 days to groom ANDY with the hard mounds of mats on him and he just sat there very quiet and patiently waiting to get all of the stuff off of him. Pictures are available. ANDY is 2 years old and 18 pounds and a great little guy. He really likes following me around but he is pretty independent, not a velcro dog although he does like to cuddle and be close to watch TV. He walks very well on a leash and does not get car sick and of course he still very well for a bath and to be groomed which he will need to be groomed about every 6-8 weeks. I thought about keeping QUEENIE myself because of her age but I have foster dogs who take up my time and attention and QUEENIE tries to follow behind me and ends up getting run over. She still plays and goes outside to potty with everyone else and all of the dogs are bigger than she is. She is quiet and independent and primarily healthy. Because of her age and breed, she has Luxating Patella in both legs but that does not stop her from running and jumping AND climbing the stairs just fine. She use to sleep in a crate but decided that the laundry room was more comfortable so she drug her little bed and blanket into the laundry room. I was shocked but I allowed her to make that her room. She is not spayed but I will get her spayed before she goes to her new home. QUEENIE was horribly matted when I got her, she was found on the streets of San Antonio, TX and had to be shaved down. She has grown out and needs to be groomed again which she will be this week coming up, April 1, Wednesday. This is simply a little doll toy Shih Tzu that is pure delightful to have around. He is 35 pounds and a medium-small dog that is 5 years old and just built sturdy and solid. He has a bit of Shih Tzu in him with that Terrier. Now his personality is just the opposite, he is sooooo well-mannered with a curious behavior. He follows me around like a student waiting for me to guide him and teach him what to do. TANK is mellow, very quiet and just goes with the flow. He never bothers the other foster dogs and they do not bother him. He is crate and potty trained, walks well on a leash and jumps right in the car ready to go wherever. This guy would be a great first dog or a dog for someone who is not that active because the daily maintenance on him is very low. He does enjoy a leisurely walk though because he likes to sightsee. We know he is some type of terrier mix but not sure what kind and he will probably need to be groomed every 3-4 months to keep his pretty golden coat looking good. This stunning, smiling little guy is ROCK. Maybe I should not say little as he weighs a whopping 25 pounds, which is kind of big for a Shih Tzu but he is that. The vet says he needs to lose at least 20. He is 4 years old. ROCK was an owner surrender to a small Texas shelter from the son of an 83 year old man who has dementia. We are hoping to place ROCK in a home that he'll be happy and keep that glowing smile! He is in a foster home with other dogs as we do not have a shelter. I do not have any cats so I do not know how he would do with them. ROCK likes to hang around you but he is independent and quietly follows you around the house. He is not a barker unless he wants something. I do not have a doggy door, I just let the dogs out of my backdoor every few hours for a potty break and that is the word I use 'Potty.' Even though he has not missed a meal, he does enjoy breakfast and dinner time! He walks well on a leash, rides in the car without getting sick and would make a good companion for anyone.
