If you are interested in meeting Colby Jack please go to our website worcesterarl.org and fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry Form https://worcesterarl.org/dog-adoption-inquiry/ - please indicate when you would be available on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday between 9am and 3pm on any part of the form and a staff member will reach out. You can email dogs@worcesterarl.org with questions. Meet Colby Jack, a 2-year-old energetic poodle mix with a sensitive but playful personality. Found wandering as a stray in Worcester, Colby is looking for a fresh start. Colby is adorable and learning that the world can be a kind place. He does have clear boundaries around handling and prefers calm, respectful interactions, so he’s seeking an adult-only home with patient, gentle adopters who are happy to go slow and build trust at his pace. If you are looking for dog that you can snuggle and pet right away, Colby Jack is not the right fit. Colby will need regular professional grooming to keep his coat healthy and free of mats. With thoughtful introductions, he may be able to live with or enjoy the company of other dogs and meet-and-greets are required for dogs as well as all human members of the household. If you’re looking for a devoted companion and are willing to let Colby set the pace, he would be a wonderful match.
