Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Scotch! Scotch is approximately 1 year old, 48 lb currently, and he may have some doodle in his mix. In his foster home, he`s been working hard on house training, crate training and leash walking. He can be a bit shy with new people and will need a patient adopter. He could join households with kids 10+ and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. His foster says, `Scotch is a shy, gorgeous boy. He does warm up eventually. He`s made great strides with that over the last couple of weeks. Now there are lots of tailwags and him coming up for attention. He has greatly improved walking on leash. He has been non-destructive, loves treats and takes them gently. This handsome boy deserves a furever family and I believe he will make a great addition to a lucky family.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on June 19. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com.

Story
DOB 6-1-2025 This sweet Poodle Is crate trained and loves to go for walks on her leash. Ella has been spayed, she is Heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. She is up to date on shots and dental work and weighs about 45 pounds. Ella gets along well with other dogs and LOVES her toys and playing in her back yard. Her adoption fee is 950.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC. they are a wonderful transport delivering pets to the East Coast every other weekend The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Riley is a roughly 14 year old, 18 lbs poodle-terrier mix who is sweet, loving, and loyal. Sadly, Riley’s owner had a stroke and will be unable to care for him. Although Riley has an abundance of affection for humans, he does not extend warm sentiments to cats and some dogs, and a home free of other pets would be ideal. He has had some separation anxiety from his beloved person, but is generally in good health. Riley comes with a large wardrobe of sweaters and jackets.

Story
Hi, my name is Darcy, and I am looking for my new home! I am a doodle mix, aged around one year old, and I am still building my confidence! I'm a petite little girl and only weigh around 35-40 pounds. I may take a little bit of time to warm up to some new people, but once I know you, I'm a total sweetheart! I'm hoping to find a home where teenagers are the youngest members of the family, and I may do well in a home with a friendly, playful dog or a dog-savvy cat. I am super smart, treat-motivated, and love to learn new things! I know all of my basic cues like sit, down, stay, mat, etc. I love to play with my toys and to go for walks! I'm cuddly with my people, and can't wait to find a family to call my own! I appear to be house-trained. Please fill out an application if you think you are the one for me: https://operationdeltadog.org/adoption-application/
