Meet Hercules Hercules is a sensitive, loyal dog who takes his time getting comfortable with new people. He isn’t a “love at first sight” kind of guy—he needs multiple meet-and-greets before feeling safe enough to go home—but once he trusts you, his bond is deep and devoted.With his person, Hercules truly shines. He loves going on walks (where there isn`t a lot of traffic walking past), playing with his toys, and winding down with some well-earned snuggles at the end of the day. He forms a strong attachment to one person and is happiest in a calm, predictable environment.Hercules would do best in a single-person household and cannot go to an apartment. He needs a home with more space and a stable environment. A home with no animals or children living in or visiting is required. Because he bonds closely and can be protective, he needs an experienced, committed adopter who understands his needs. Buddy is a 10 year old, 12 pound dog who likely has some Shih Tzu and possibly Yorkie in his mix. He was surrendered after his family could no longer care for him. He is doing great on house-training, crate-training, and leash walking. He could join families with teens, cats, and other small calm dogs. He just has FHO surgery and will need some physical therapy for that. As a senior dog, he also has cataracts.No apartments, please!His foster says, `Buddy is a handsome senior fellow with spunk looking for a loving forever family/ human!Buddy is the total package, all around good boy.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on November 9th. He's got the looks, he's got the personality, and he's got enough puppy energy to keep you entertained all day long. One minute, he's a tiny tornado of zoomies, and the next, he's ready to curl up in your lap and snooze like the little angel he pretends to be. 😂🩵 But before we get to all the cuteness, let's talk about how this little guy found his way into our care. 💔 The last little puppy left behind Marley was born around August 21, 2026, and at just about nine weeks old, he was already facing an uncertain future. He was being given away on a street corner near the South Texas/Mexico border, along with his littermates, to anyone willing to take a puppy. There didn't seem to be much concern about where these babies would end up or whether they'd find safe, loving homes. When one of our volunteers came across the situation, Marley was the last puppy left. The last little one still waiting. Thankfully, our volunteer stepped in, and Mar Mar got his chance at a much brighter future. ❤️ Now, this tiny boy is safe and ready to find the family who will love him for all the years to come. 🧸 A tiny fluff ball with BIG puppy energy! Don't let that innocent little face fool you. Marley is a whole lot of puppy packed into one ridiculously fluffy package! This boy has places to go, toys to destroy, and zoomies to zoom. 😂 💨 The zoomies are REAL! Marley loves to run around, play, and burn off that endless puppy energy. If you're looking for a quiet little stuffed animal who sits perfectly still all day, this probably isn't your guy! 🧸 Toy enthusiast extraordinaire! This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We have mainly adopted only in the Northeast but are expanding to include Midwest and PNW starting in September of 2026 The adoption fee listed ($995) DOES NOT INCLUDE transport from Texas. Meet RJ! We're not sure if RJ stands Ridiculously Judicious or Real Jackpot, but we are sure that he's super duper cute and an absolute love. RJ is a senior boy and tends to be pretty chill and calm, but he's up for a slow walk around the neighborhood. RJ came in with another dog who he does well with but is not bonded to - they can be adopted together or separately. RJ has no experience with cats, but would likely do well after a slow and thoughtful introduction to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals involved.
