Cody is an adorable 13 year old Shih Tzu mix who came to us after his owner passed away. Cody is a little guy only weighing 9 pounds. He spends his days snoozing, getting cuddled, and eating. Cody has been great with every dog he has met but he probably should not be with bigger active dogs because of his size. We have not heard Cody bark yet but once he is comfortable in his environment he may start being more vocal. This little man just wants a comfortable place to live out his remaining years. Cody is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, recently had full blood work and a dental. He requires eye drops twice a day for dry eye and is also eating a prescription hydrolyzed diet for his skin. He will need medicated baths and may also need Cytopoint injections for his skin in the future. To apply to adopt Cody, please fill out an application at vintagepetrescue.org/adopt

My name is Sydney and I am a Shih Tzu/Blue Heeler mix girl. That was determined with DNA. My mom is a Shih Tzu and my dad a Blue Heeler. I am active, smart, friendly and happy! I am good with other dogs and people. My foster mom does not know about cats though! I do need another young dog to live and play with. I would pester an older dog.  I am current on shots, neutered, microchipped and working on potty training. My adoption fee is $550.
