Story
Shampoo has picture perfect, pantene curls. Soft and silky, it's hard to stop petting her, and she loves to be held and cuddled, so she will have no objections! Shampoo came to Cameron Animal Hospital after being left at a grooming salon because her former owners could not care for her. She is a sweet, silly, affectionate puppy. She loves people and being pet and held. She is shy but very interested in other dogs, and would thrive with another dog to help her build her confidence as long as there are slow introductions. Shampoo is generally a healthy girl - but she was born with a defect in both of her knees. Her knee caps are dislocated, which prevents her from straightening her back legs fully, and makes her bend over when she walks. She needs surgery to move her kneecaps back into place; with that surgery she will make a full recovery and finally be able to run and play the way she wants to! Shampoo's adoption includes- full series of DHLPPi (distemper), Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines; 1 month of heartworm and flea/tick treatment; fecal testing, and deworming; spay; microchip; and 30 days of free insurance. We are looking for an adopter with an extensive previous vet reference. Shampoo is good with dog-savy cats, younger children, and other calm dogs. Shampoo can't wait to meet her forever family! Panda is a very special dog with the most beautiful, soulful eyes and a gentle, expressive face. He’s incredibly smart – almost like a little kid – and really understands the people around him. He learns quickly, picks up routines fast, and loves being involved in whatever you’re doing. We are heartbroken to be looking for a new home for him, but since our newborn baby arrived, Panda has been struggling with the change. He does not get along well with the baby, and it’s becoming stressful for everyone. We love him very much, but we want him to have a life where he feels safe, relaxed, and fully loved — and where the environment is a better fit for his needs. Panda does best in a home: • With no newborns or very young children • With someone who can be with him most days (flexible schedule, retired, or home a lot) • With a person or family who can give him plenty of attention, affection, and patience • Who understands that he’s sensitive and thrives on feeling secure and included

Please take good care of her. 🆘️ #AdogsMiso #어독스미소 💙 Name: Miso 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in October 2021) 💙 Weight: 8.4 kg / 18.5 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition 🙏 Her skin condition is not contagious to humans or other dogs. She has fully recovered but needs care to help her fur grow back. 🙏 * Not spayed yet. * Microchipped, and getting treatment for heartworm. Completely recovered from anaplasmosis and giardiasis. * Her bedsores were severe at the time of the rescue but she’s completely recovered. She does fine with medicated baths just once every two weeks. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Miso was rescued with two puppies from an animal hoarder in the Gimje area and then brought to the Gimje City Shelter. She had already developed severe bedsores, but did not get appropriate treatment there. As less care was expected especially during the week-long Chuseok holiday, Adogs rushed to the rescue of Miso, thinking that she couldn't wait further. One of her puppies passed away, but #AdogsChapssal has met a lifelong family. Currently, Miso is waiting for her own family at our center. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is a bit shy to new people, but it doesn't take long to get close to them! Approaches familiar people first with her tail wagging, and accepts their petting well. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs at our center, and tends indifferent towards them. * With Cats: Her reaction has not confirmed yet because she hasn't met them. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed because she currently lives in a group at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed because she currently lives at our center. May need to be trained from scratch when she starts a life with family. * Hygiene: Got her nails trimmed at the vet after rescue. Seemed uncomfortable with it, but she got through it with no big fuss. * Walks: Hasn't had a walk yet because she is undergoing treatment for heartworm. * Car Sickness: Showed no motion sickness when moved to the vet clinic after rescue. * Is wary in frightful situations or when she doesn’t like something, but has never bitten. * Likes treats so much that it's easy to get close to her! * Is wary when people suddenly approach or try to hug her. Feels uncomfortable when they try to force her to do something.
