Story
Snowflake is a sweet little mini poodle with a gentle soul and a happy heart. She’s about a year old, weighs around 11 pounds, and is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Snowflake was found as a stray and sadly went unclaimed, but she’s safe now and ready for a fresh start.
She’s very friendly with people and does well with other dogs. Snowflake loves companionship and wants to be near her people. She does have some separation anxiety, which her foster home is actively working on, and she’s already making progress. Because of this, she’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time and can continue helping her build confidence.
She was shaved down when she came in so she could be cleaned up comfortably, but her fluffy poodle coat will grow back beautifully. Snowflake is a loving little dog who just wants stability, patience, and someone to be her safe place.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!
2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.
3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)
4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
