Meet Bear, a sweet 5–6 year old Shih Tzu with a heart as big as his name 🐻 Bear is a 25-pound bundle of love who is ready to find his forever home. This charming little guy is extremely friendly and truly enjoys being around people. He greets everyone like an old friend and is wonderful with kids, making him a fantastic family companion. Bear gets along beautifully with other dogs and absolutely loves trips to the dog park. He also co-exists peacefully with cats. Car rides? One of his favorite things! He hops right in and is ready for the next adventure. On leash, he walks pretty well and enjoys getting out to explore. At home, Bear is a dream. He is 100% house trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and rarely barks. He has a calm, easygoing nature and settles in nicely after playtime. As a Shih Tzu, he is low-shedding, which is a bonus for those looking for a low-shed companion. Bear does have a cataract in one eye, but his vision in the other eye is good and he navigates his world just fine. He also has luxating patellas in his front legs; at this time they do not require intervention and he remains comfortable and active. Bear is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back — a loyal little shadow who will happily join you for outings or curl up beside you at the end of the day.
