Meet Ted & Bill! This tiny duo came in together and are inseparable. They are bonded brothers and need to stay together. They are just over a year old (13 months) and each only about 10lbs. Ted is the spark, the explorer, the one who wakes up already ready to do something. He’s full of curiosity and enthusiasm, always eager to move, play, investigate, and learn what’s happening five feet ahead. Ted is very sweet and affectionate in his own way, though he prefers playtime over snuggle time. Bill is the tender-hearted gentleman of the duo. He’s the kind of pup who believes couches were invented for cuddling and that bones exist to be thoughtfully gnawed into submission. Sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented, Bill enjoys being close to his humans and is happiest when he can curl up nearby after a good play session. They can be vocal at times, so a home with no shared walls is important. These boys are curious, require supervision, and consistent training while they learn how to be polite members of society. In return, they offer laughter, affection, and the kind of happiness that only puppies can provide. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar.  They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Kiwi was born 5/30/25. She is sweet and sassy, a perfect little girl! She is friendly and social with everyone. She likes playing with her toys. She is great with older children. She needs work on housetraining. She is smart and catches on quickly. Adoption fee is 950.00. Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a  $20.00  donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. I purchased Snoopy as a birthday gift for my daughter when she was in the 3rd grade from a pet store. She's now in college. He is a good dog and just needs a loving home. He's 10 years old. He loves to be held and rubbed. Since our daughter is gone away to college, we don't have the time for him and he and our other dog is left home alone for long periods of time. Snoopy loss one of his eyes a couple of years ago but it hasn't hinder him from doing anything. We do have another bigger dog that Snoopy gets along with but he doesn't really go around other dogs. He's not really friendly with other dogs. He's never been around cats. He's a real chill dog and would be a great companion dog for someone that has time for walks, cuddles, and hugs. Update: my daughter really wants to keep Snoopy. If you are willing to shelter him until the end of April, that would be ideal.

Percy is a 2-3 yr old Shihtzu mix weighing 15 lbs. He is from the Pearsall shelter and came to our rescue completely neglected. He is a good boy and loves to sit on his hind legs and give prayers in his crate. haha. He gets along with everyone in his group, especially the ladies. Percy is heartworm negative and Chagas positive but don't let that deter you. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas so even more dogs can be helped. Percy is available for transport to St. Petersburg, FL on February 21, 2026 with an approved application. His adoption fee is $450 which includes the transport fee. Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip
