Kiwi was born 5/30/25. She is sweet and sassy, a perfect little girl! She is friendly and social with everyone. She likes playing with her toys. She is great with older children. She needs work on housetraining. She is smart and catches on quickly. Adoption fee is 950.00. Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. Everyone say hi to Arfie, a 7.5 year old 28 lb shih tzu boy. Yes you read that right, Arfie weighs 28 lbs and is in need of a home that will take him on walks and give him the opportunity to shed some much needed pounds---with that said this little boy is an " absolute gentleman" according to his foster mom. Arfie came to us after his elderly owner was unable to care for him longer due to her own personal issues----Arfie has come a long way from intake when he was all of 39lbs!!! He just wants to please everyone, has excellent house manners and deserves a chance at a great life in a loving home. He gets along with EVERYONE and is a soft and kind hearted soul....he has yet to meet a person he doesn't wag his little tail at and asks to say hello to. Arfie has a history of seizures and is on medication where it controlled now that he has been seen and treated for it by our veterinary team. He also is allergic to chicken and chicken by-products but is doing great on a diet of salmon and sweet potato kibble which is sold over the counter. ***Looking for someone to love***Hi- I’m Sparrow. I was named as a nod to the pirate Jack Sparrow from the movies. I was found as a stray in the Miami area after being attacked by an animal. I had bite wounds and bad eye injury. The kind people here at GOFAR rescued me and rushed me to the vet. Unfortunately, my eye had to be removed- but they were able to take care of everything else so I am now all healthy and feel so much better!I am estimated at around 3yrs old, I'm 12-13 lbs and appear to be a Shih Tzu. I am very sweet and affectionate. I walk well on leash and get along well with other dogs. I even did well with the kittens at the rescue! My favorite thing is to spend time with the volunteers in our meet and greet area. We play with the toys and cuddle!My $350 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test (negative) microchip and deworming.
