Buckwheat, also called Buddy by his foster mom, is a playful boy who loves spending time with his toys. He is crate trained and is still working on perfecting his potty training, but he is making good progress.Since arriving at Helping Strays, Buckwheat has really been enjoying the feeling of safety, comfort, and love. As he settles in, his sweet and happy personality continues to shine through. He would love a family that will keep encouraging him, playing with him, and giving him all the affection he deserves. Buckwheat is 12 years old and weighs 14 pounds.Location: Foster homeThe adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a dog, please stop by the shelter during open hours. Dogs may be in a foster home, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended. If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing it along to meet your possible new family member.helpingstrays.org
