This is Tara! She is a 2 year old Shih Tzu who was found stuck in tar in colorado! Poor baby! This sweet and sassy young girl is looking for her forever home! She has only just arrived at her foster home, so we will update as we get to know her a bit bette The suggested adoption donation for Tara is $465. We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. All donations go toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, providing supportive services to animals in homes, and funding for special programs like Muddy Paws Parvo Puppy Project. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. Frankie the Zuchon (Shih Tzu/Bichon) is a happy, funny, energetic pup guaranteed to add some life to any party! His lovely fluffy coat was shaved down but he will be so adorable when it grows out, and will need regular grooming appointments to keep him looking his very best. Great with kids of all ages and good with other dogs his size, Frankie could even live peacefully with cats. In his foster home he is learning proper house manners and to be crate trained at night. Frankie would love to have a canine sibling and a securely fenced yard to romp and play in! The suggested adoption donation for Frankie is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
