THE ADOPTION PROCESS MAY TAKE UPTO 2 WEEKS. . Gio is a 1 year old mixed breed dog weighing approximately 12 pounds. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. He is learning leash manners. Gio is working on housebreaking and crate training. He is going to need a owner that will commit to the time to housebreaking him and have patience. He was found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, where our rescue organization stepped in to give him a second chance. Currently, Gio is staying at a dog training doggy daycare, where he is learning how to walk on a leash for the first time. So far, he has shown himself to be very sweet and gets along with other dogs. We have received a lot of interest and applications for Gio. Our main goal is to find the right home for him that will commit to his training. Gio is fully vetted. He is neutered, microchipped, tested for heartworm, and has received his rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations. Additionally, he is on flea preventative.
