Story
This girl is ready for her new home ! She came in after being on the run for 3 weeks and finally trapped. Her coat had some kind of tar or tree sap all over and oh the fleas. She went into labor and delivered 2 premature, deceased pups, so we headed right to the vet. An x-ray showed 4 more pups. A c-section was performed and while we were able to get the 4 to breathe and come around they looked like the other 2 that had passed. Apparently, she was aborting the litter. 3 of the 4 passed within 24 hours. The lungs are last to mature and their little lungs just couldn't do the job. But...one little guy was giving it his all. He would nurse off of mom and be bottle fed and had to be kept in the incubator to keep his temp up. He was a little baldy when he was born, but that filled in pretty fast. And he made it and is now in a loving forever home. She has made great strides at getting used to house life and enjoys running around the fenced yard. She now wants affection and is developing a loving personality. Patsy is probably 3 yrs old and just under 20lbs. She needs a fenced yard, no exceptions, a home that is willing to let her settle in and probably no little kids would be best. She has never shown aggression, just more fear than anything. Patsy is current on all vetcare and has had a dental, along with 14 rotten teeth removed. She was just groomed and did wonderful. Her adoption fee is $400.00. Fill out an application @ http://www.saveamomrescue.com Be sure your vet is notified that we will call for a reference.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Prince and I probably had a great life at one time, but somehow I ended up on my own in a place called Youngstown.  Since I can’t see well, and I can’t hear, I had a hard time fending for myself and got REALLY skinny.  The pound people saved my life by finding me and taking me to their place.  Rose’s Rescue took me in from there and got me everything I needed, including a swell haircut, not to mention good food in my belly every day!  Now I’m ready to find someone to look after me and spoil me from here on out.  I just need help with a few things, but I still get around pretty well and don’t think I’d be too much trouble.  What do you think?  Could you help out an old guy like me and give me a great life for the rest of my senior years? Are you a born caregiver?  You are the perfect parent for our sweet Prince! Prince was picked up in Youngstown in deplorable condition.  He was extremely emaciated, and eyes completely matted.  His eyes were saved, but he has very poor vision - he’s extremely near-sighted, but sees well enough that he gets around just fine.  We also discovered that he is deaf and has very few teeth.  He’s been to the brink and back, but this little guy is like the energizer bunny - he just keeps on going!  Prince is in pretty good shape for the shape he’s in, as they say   He’s got a great appetite, lets you know when he wants you, and just loves to be loved on.  He needs picked up to go outside and back in, unless you don’t have any steps.   He also will want picked up and put on the couch or chair next to you so he can snuggle and get petted and sometimes even played with   He gets moderately-priced eye meds several times a day - drops and an ointment, which he’s very good about getting.  It might sound like a lot, but it’s not really - just eye meds and a “ride’ outside to do his business.  He’s remarkably self-sufficient otherwise!  If interested in giving Prince the life he deserves for the rest of senior years, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here:       adoption application  For anyone viewing this on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal you will need to go to our website www.rosesrescue.net to fill out the online adoption application. You can usually find more pictures of the animals there too. Click on our name "Roses Rescue" in blue above to be taken directly to our website.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.     May 5, 2024, 5:31 pm

Story
Charlie is a SUPER SWEET “Teddy Bear “ breed (Shih Tzu/ Bischon pup! He just needs more time than I have to give him. I had puppy attraction without considering it would not work with my lifestyle. I am a single parent with weekend visits with my kids and the weekends that I don’t have my children. I’m busy with other work stuff. I work a lot of hours and poor Charlie is just home alone too much. We prefer that he be adopted with someone that has another dog as I think another canine would do wonders for him. . Adoption fee is to assure a good home. He was just neutered and is current on everything so it also will help me with expenses birthdate - August 2023
