Lady Di is just her undercover alias. Around here she’s known as Cookie ( or Cooks, if you’re one of her friends ….which happens to be everyone:). This 11 month old 10 lb shih tzu is serving up serious cookies and cream perfection with her adorable and less sheddy black and white coat. She’s as sweet as can be and everyone loves her….just like a cookie. Kids? Loves them. Dogs? Loves alll her foster friends and there are six plus a cat and two kittens. Now…for the headline you’ve all been waiting for….. * COOKIE IS POTTY TRAINED! Not mostly, not working on it…actually potty trained…like she goes to the front door or back and scratches on it to go out. Hallelujah! I been fostering a loooooong time and this is gift I tell you. Cookie isn’t your typical wild child pup. She’s very calm unless she see’s a cat or squirrel. With the squirrels …her intentions are questionable... so no squirrel friends!! She loves a nice short walk outside ,but will also cuddle up on the couch. She is crate trained, but would rather sleep in your bed and has earned the right with those excellent potty skills…. I mean she is a LADY after all. She’s a sweet ,gentle gal with great manners ready to steal your heart and for sure your spot on the sofa. Hope you are ready!!! Sweet Jeffrey is looking for a new forever home after his elderly owners moved into assisted living and could no longer care for him. Jeffrey is fully vetted, neutered and even had a recent dental. Jeffrey is used to a quiet life with his people and probably would do best in a similar quiet household. Senior owners would be great for him! Jeffrey has been doing great with dogs of all sizes in his foster home. He is not interested in playing much with other dogs but is very happy to share the couch. He has shown no interest in the cats that free roam in his foster home. Jeffrey has not had a lot of interactions with children. Jeffrey is crate trained and goes in his crate on his own when home alone. Grandparents who would have the occasional visit of grandkids could easily crate Jeffrey in a quiet room during visit time. Jeffrey is leash trained and walks well on leash. We have Jeffrey marked as partially housetrained because he was having some accidents in the house lately. However it is unclear if this was his fault or if his owners could no longer take him out on time for potty breaks. Jeffrey is a cuddler. He just wants a person to love him, to sit next to on the couch and to hang out for treats! Give him a bed and he will lie there and chill, snoozing to some slow relaxing music in the background. Outside, Tan loves to soak up the sun. Just as he loves his ‘alone’ time, Tan is just as content to stay in your arms and be cuddled. Tan certainly loves his cuddles. Tan loves walks. He is not a good walker on the leash, though. He prefers to choose his walking paths. He goes where his instincts direct him. Tanzanite is an 8–9-year-old, 12lb Shih Tzu. He is looking for a quiet home with walks, outside time and cuddles. He is perfect for a family who enjoys the companionship of a dog but not the maintenance that goes with some dogs. Tan would love his bestie, Minnie, to be adopted with him.
