FALKOR IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED! Meet Falkor, a 2- to 3-year-old dog weighing 18-20 pounds. He is housebroken, crate trained, and demonstrating good behavior around other dogs, older children, as well as cats. Falkor enjoys cuddling and watching TV, although he does not yet appear to be familiar with toys. He is seeking a forever home. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Falkor up north to his new family. He enjoys older kids and other dogs, and he’ll tolerate cats as long as they respect his space. He’s a bit anxious in new situations and can still have the occasional accident in the house, so patience and reassurance will go a long way with him.Because he worries that someone might take his food, children in the home need to understand not to disturb him when he`s eating meals or snacks. Buttercup and her sister and brother, Bubbles and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 7 pounds and is probably full grown now. Buttercup is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little bossy but plays great with her brother and sister. we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them but would always want to be the boss. She would be fine with older children and we are not sure about cats but the bossy part would be the same at first.
