Lady - Shih Tzu - Female - 11 yrs - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Meet Lady: Lady is a 11 year old spayed female Shih Tzu who was owner surrendered to us when her owner could no longer care for her. We can tell Lady was loved and adored as she closely bonded to her foster mom, follows her everywhere and loves to be held. Lady  is up to date on Vaccines, heartworm negative and has lost a few teeth during a recent dental and is now ready to find a new home. She is house trained and rides well in the car, not sure about a crate as she prefers to sleep in her fosters bed. She is currently living with other dogs, and more of a parallel companion than an interactive one, she doesn't mind other dogs but does not seek them out. Lady is looking for a home with or without another dog of similar size and energy, older kids are fine and she would very much prefer a home where someone is home a lot and lets her snuggle on the sofa while watching TV and snuggle in bed with her at night. ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***

Hello! My name is Winston, but you can call me Winnie! I also answer to "sir Winston"! I am a curious and loving pup seeking humans who like to play. I love all humans and am really good with other dogs and cats, too! I love belly rubs, cuddles, walks, chew toys, sticking my tongue out at you (my tongue is kind of stuck like that), and watching TV (all the sounds are so confusing!)! Oh, and I also love rubbing my face on toes! I am crate trained and am not much for barking. I love to be anywhere you are! I come when called or whistled at, and you can hold me as much as you'd like! I can wait nearby patently (mostly) while my humans need to work, cook, or do other human things. I think I would make a great outing dog and promise to greet all humans with love and kisses! I am pretty easy to manage. I am still a pup, so I have lots of energy, but I often play by myself until I fall asleep in your lap. I am still working on house training, but I am starting to get the hang of it! Winston is a Male Shih Tzu that we estimate to be born around 12/1/2022 and weighs 10 lbs.

Oh my goodness!!! You guys have to meet the cutest little guy around… MARTY !!!!!   I'm tiny (10.8 pounds) and about 2 years old! I'm funny and squiggly and so happy!!!!   I was found newly dumped in front of St. Thomas High School. Thankfully, a very aware Good Samaritan saw me frantically searching for someone and scooped me right up. I’m the most fun, energetic, and loving pup ever! I was really sad when I found myself alone on the scary streets of Houston but once the nice people at Scouts Honor Rescue took me in I knew I was going to be ok. Now I’m in a foster home and I absolutely love playing with my foster brother. I know he thinks he is the boss but I’m faster and can jump higher! I’m pretty good about leaving things alone that aren’t mine but from time to time I get so curious that I do something that my foster parents say is a no-no. I’m smart though so I’m learning about no-nos fast. I’m still working on potty training but I love a good treat so I’ll get it down in no time. If you are looking for a playful pup with the softest fur and most sincere eyes, I’m your boy. I’d be extra happy if you have another pup to play with or if I can go play with friends from time to time but ultimately I’ll just be happy to have love from my new parents.    If you are interested in fostering or adopting this cutie pie, fill out the proper application and we will be in touch!
