Meet Cookie Monster 💙🍪 Cookie Monster was found rocking a very unique blue makeover, and while his colorful coat may fade with time, his spunky personality is definitely here to stay! https://youtu.be/bbgb8qDGFnA This young pup is a total social butterfly who believes every person he meets has the potential to become his new best friend. He happily makes his rounds for pets and isn’t afraid to hop right into your lap when he’s ready for some cuddles. When he’s not soaking up attention, Cookie Monster loves to play! He enjoys running, playing chase, and hanging out with canine friends of all sizes. He has wonderful social skills, shares toys nicely, and even patiently waits his turn for treats. Cookie Monster has also shown how sweet he can be with feline friends. During his cat introduction, he calmly said hello, explored the room, and later came back to give the kitty a little face lick! He’s already showing off some great puppy skills, including walking nicely on leash, responding well to guidance, and happily going into his kennel. With his outgoing nature, he could make an awesome adventure buddy for walks, dog-friendly patios, brewery trips, and plenty of outings with his future family. The blue may fade, but Cookie Monster’s charm is permanent. 💙 This goofy, affectionate little guy is ready to bring a whole lot of personality and love to his forever home. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6aa6ffd8c35306f2340b6824 Questions? Hi there! I’m Jag the Tag-Along Bestie, and I'm looking for my ultimate partner-in-crime! I’m 2 years old, a solid 20 pounds, and I come permanently glued to your hip. I am a total pro with other dogs of all sizes and I don’t mind cats at all! I’m also a fantastic co-pilot in the car and love going to work with my human. My former family kenneled me at night, but my foster mom lets me snooze in the big bed with the whole pack, and I promise I’m the best snuggler you'll ever meet. Watch me here: https://youtube.com/shorts/UaJz2Ka6Oak?feature=shared Now, full disclosure: I’m a slow warm up kind pf pup on first impression. If people come into my home (especially guys or anyone hiding behind a baseball hat), I play the big, loud guard dog. Bark, bark, bark! But here’s my secret hack: meet me outside! If you hand my leash to someone new on a walk and let them give me treats, I instantly chill out and walk right beside them. Once I know I’m safe and can trust you, I am ALL about the head scratches and doggy kisses. I don't care much for toys, I never mark in the house, and I'm super quiet as long as we keep the visitor count low. Ready for a velcro best friend? I'm ready to tag along! Meet Stevie Ray, the Well-Traveled Bluesman Looking for His Last Stop! There's a whole lot of heart packed into this little guy. Stevie is a 5-year-old shih tzu with the spirit of a pup and the devotion of an old soul: spunky, sweet, and utterly himself. He's also a bluesman who has seen some things. This little legend just wrapped up a cross-country tour, rolling out of a New Mexico shelter on a long bus ride that would make any road-weary musician grumpy. Give him a yard and watch the magic happen. Stevie turns it into his own little kingdom, nose to the ground, tail wagging, patrolling every inch like he's got very important business to attend to. Start a game of fetch and you'll fall in love with how much joy he can pack into his bouncy sprints. That said, he'd do just as well in an apartment, as long as he gets his outdoor time, whether that's a car ride, a backyard to patrol, or daily walks and trips to the park for sniffing and running. Stevie is good with other dogs, though according to his foster mom, he likes to call the shots. Every band needs a frontman, and he's happy to volunteer. His experience with children and cats is unknown, so we strongly recommend intentional, proper introductions and precautions if you have either at home. True to his shih tzu roots, Stevie carries himself with a confident, opinionated flair all a part of of his charm. Stevie appreciates a little time to get to know new people and does best when they let him come to them. He needs an experienced, patient adopter who will go slow, let him set the tempo, and respect his boundaries, especially around handling, new people, and high-stress situations. But earn his trust, and you'll find the softest heart this side of the Mississippi. With his foster mom, Stevie is pure velvet. He lets her dress him in his finest stage attire, picks up easily in her arms, follows her from room to room, and leans into every pet like it's the best thing that's ever happened to him. He wants to be wherever you are, and once he's yours, he's all yours. He does best with a family who's home often, so he never has to be far from the person he loves. After all those miles, this traveling troubadour is ready to hang up the tour bus keys. A calm home with a warm lap is his dream venue. Meet Willy!🦷 Willy is a delightfully mysterious guy with a heart of gold and personality AND perfect teefies to match. He is an absolute sweetheart once he settles in, and he truly loves meeting new people and making canine friends when he’s out and about. That said, he’s also a bit of a diva who enjoys being the star of the show. He can get a little grumpy when other dogs steal the spotlight from him, so he’s looking for an experienced home that offers clear structure, gentle boundaries, and patience while he works on sharing the stage. He’s currently on a healing journey for some skin allergies, which leaves him sporting a unique "half-coat" look at the moment. We’ve made great progress on his recovery, and his current routine is straightforward: daily pills, medicated baths, and a special diet. On top of being a total sweetheart, Willy is fully house-trained with great indoor manners. He’s been through a lot, but with a committed adopter ready to keep up his skin care and offer a steady routine, he is going to make a deeply devoted, fun companion. If you’re ready to help this handsome guy finish his transformation, Willy would love to meet you!

Hermione is a protective dog, she gets scared of new people but very loving once you get to know her. She likes to go on short walks and play tug of war. She loves head scratches and belly rubs. She's a very sweet girl but needs someone to give her the time and attention I couldn't.
