Story
Summer Breeze...makes me feel fine...blowing through the jasmine in my miiiiinnnd My foster mumsie sings that to me because she says I remind her of that song ....I'm like a warm Summer Breeze coming to bring you out of your winter woes. I make friends with all the dogs big and small, I like cats,I love kids, and I am gentle, wiggle butt of happiness all the time. My foster mumsie says another big bonus is that I'm like a shihtzu for someone on a budget... I have the cute squishy face and none of that long hair that has to be continuously groomed. Win-win! Summer is a wonderful little Shihtzu mix of some such. She is approx a year old and 14lbs grown. She is extremely easy, happy, and affectionate. She gets along with all of my dogs and fosters ,my cats, and the neighbor kids love her. They are at my door daily to see if she can come out and play. Summer recalls like a dream and doesn't run off if not on leash, but she also has great leash skills now. She is kennel trained and sleeps overnight in her kennel. She loves toys and to play, starting to learn fetch with little smaller 's. She is very gentle and would be perfect for a family even with small children. She is still working on her potty training, but is learning fast. She is maybe medium energy. While she does love to play and bounce around she also can just sit on your lap while watching a movie. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meet Cutie Luigi! ❤️🤩 His gorgeous dark brown eyes, his cute model-like ears, and his glowing smile forever will melt your heart and make you fall in love with him instantly. This precious boy collects all the compliments in the world as he is very sweet, athletic and very smart. He is absolutely adorable and kind. Luigi is a love bug with a fun personality and can build a great relationship with a furry friends, kids and adults. Luigi connected very quickly with his foster brothers and sisters. They became best friends from the moment they met and they are inseparable. They love spending time together doing zommies, catching ball, wrestling with each other, and basking in the sun when it’s nice out. He is great with other doggies and kitties and loves just simply enjoying the company of his fur friends. And if you don’t have another fur baby in your home don’t feel bad as Luigi sees his human as his best friend and will follow you to the moon and back. A completely wood fenced yard is a MUST to ensure a secure environment for his safety and entertainment. Luigi loves toys and this silly goof is just in love with them. He is a pro at taking them out from the toy box and leaving them all over the bedroom floor. Cutie Luigi is very photogenic and enjoys modeling in front of the camera. How can he not??!! That beautiful smile! ❤️ So if you love to take pictures and videos be ready and up your phone storage because his photos will go on the cover of the magazines.😀 Luigi loves to stay warm and he loves wearing stylish jackets and sweaters to look cool!! The boy is a model and he appreciates good taste in clothing, so if you play your cards right he will let you dress him often. 😘 Sweet Luigi good in his kennel and is potty trained. He also enjoys his chill naps with his warm fuzzy blankets or on his soft pillow. So if you need a nap or to watch Netflix he will support you 100% and will nap next to you. If you work at home he will be by your side keeping you company, chewing on his favourite marrow bone, or if you are out at work or shopping he would just enjoy his beauty sleep until you return. Precious boy Luigi is full of love and happiness and his beautiful pictures and videos will never justify his amazing sweet and kind personality. Luigi is an adorable boy who will love you forever and he is just looking for the same in return!!❤️🥰 Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6626fa07554708790b06c471 Please email: Katiak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Milo! He is a 3-year-old, 11 lb, Shih Tzu who was a stray and came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Milo is a sweet boy who lost his leg shortly after being picked up as a stray as it was fractured and displaced. He is now a tripod, but it does not slow him down one bit. He can jump up steps but would prefer to be lifted. He likes to cuddle and play with toys. He will walk on a leash but needs some training. He loves to follow you around and see what you are up to. He is crate trained but also sleeps well in a dog bed during the night. He is food motivated which is always great for training. He does fine with other dogs but could also be fine as an only dog who gets all of the love and attention. He is working on his house-training skills and will need an adopter who is able to help him continue with this. He would love a yard where he can run and play (having only 3 legs does not slow this boy down one bit). He enjoys car rides and is a great travel companion. He does struggle with balancing on hardwood floors with only 3 legs and would do best in a house that is carpeted or has area rugs. He can be a little mouthy during his playtime and will resource guard when he is chewing on a toy so we would not advise a home with small children. Milo is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Monica from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 6 year old  female Shih Tzu.  I weigh approximately 11 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,295 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
Hey there, future best friend! I'm a fluff-tastic Shih Tzu/Pekingese mix puppy with a heart full of wiggles and whisker waggles. They call me Zeus, and I'm on a mission to find a forever home filled with love and laughter. I'm a pint-sized ball of fur, ready to bring joy into your life. I have a bundle of energy and am always up for playtime and puppy shenanigans. But don't let my playful side fool you-I've got a heart as soft as my fluffy coat. Cuteness? Well, it's my superpower! With my soulful puppy eyes and irresistible charm, I'm here to melt your heart. Whether it's cuddles on the couch or zoomies in the backyard, I'm ready for it all. If you're searching for a charming, lovable, and utterly adorable companion to brighten your days, then look no further. I'm here, wagging my tail and waiting for the chance to become your loyal sidekick. Ready to make me a part of your family? Let the adventures begin! * Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.
