Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Came to CPR as a local Co surrender, pup was found as a stray 3 months ago and the finders were not able to find his owners after searching for months, finders were leaving the state and could no longer hold onto him so they surrendered. He was not fixed or vaccinated when he came into our care. From the foster: Meet Colonel, puppy #44, 6lbs of tiny Terrier mix energy with a big boss personality. A former stray, he’s still learning the ropes of indoor life and needs a patient, adult-only home that can provide firm but kind leadership. While he is crate and potty trained, he still likes to mark his territory, so he’s currently rocking belly bands as he transitions into his new routine. Neutering should definitely help with this! While he loves being picked up, held, and sitting in your lap, he does like to get his way and has nipped to set boundaries, making him a perfect match for an experienced owner who understands that while he a "purse dog" he still is a terrier who has a ton of energy and needs a job and exercise. While he is fine with other dogs, I think he would do best in a single dog house, or with another dog of similar or small- medium size! If you're looking for a small commander to lead your household, Colonel is ready to report for duty! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Operation Kindness, originated from Dallas Animal Services, Dallas, TX. Pup came into shelter believed to be 10 years old, Upon intake pup had a dental done and found that 28 teeth were missing and 3 had to be extracted. Pup has some vision problems and was given eye drops that are to be continued for the remainder of his life. Pup came to CPR neutered and with rabies vaccine. From the foster: Mr. Miso is supposed to be a senior dog but nobody told him! He has a zest for life now that he is living his best life. He is 10yrs young and a total lovebug. He’s great with our dogs. He is playful with one of them and even likes playing with a stuffed toy. His most favorite thing to do other than eating….is going for walks! He loves being able to run around the field at the park! He has a healthy appetite and will let you know if you are taking too long making his meal :) He will require eye medication for the rest if his life as he does have some visual impairment. He is a really good boy when applying the medication. He can comfortably go up stairs but it took him a little longer to feel comfortable to go down the stairs. With some help and encouragement he will be able to do it again in his new home. He loves to snuggle with his people and receiving belly rubs. Mr. Miso would make a wonderful addition to anyone who is looking for a sweet senior dog with lots of love to give still :) www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Single, 3-month-old pup pulled from Garland Animal Services in TX and caught a flight to CPR from Flying Shepherd Ranch. Tested for Parvo in early December and beat it/tested negative on December 22 prior to transport in January. From the foster: The best word to describe Pocoyo is "spunky." He is sweet and well behaved, but he is always down to play. Whether it is playing fetch with the human kids or wrestling his 65 lb foster (dog) brother, Pocoyo loves to have a good time. His unique coloring and spunky attitude bring a lot of attention when out in public. Everyone wants to hold and pet Pocoyo, and Pocoyo enjoys every minute of it! After a hard day of playing, he sleeps peacefully through the night in his kennel. He is also doing very well with potty training. So far, he's had no accidents inside. He is also learning to walk on a leash, and his little legs can keep up with the big dogs just fine! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
