***Little Bit is bonded to Max and they need to be adopted together. They will NOT be adopted out separately.***Little Bit and Max were surrendered by their owners as the toddler in the home was too much for these boys. Little Bit is said to be a Chihuahua and yorkie mix who is about 5 and a half years old. Little Bit is potty trained, walks well on a leash and enjoys playing with squeaky toys. Little Bit is a sensitive soul and can be scared by loud noises like fireworks, vacuums or thunder. When he is feeling overwhelmed, he typically will hide in his kennel. Young kids are too much for Little Bit and he gets anxious and stressed when he is around them. He would do best in an adult only home or with children 16 and over. Little Bit enjoys attention from his favorite people, playing a good game of tug of war, and going on leisurely walks with his family. Meet Maddy 💕 Maddy is a 22-pound Chihuahua mix from Tijuana, Mexico who is learning just how safe and fun life can be. She’s a sensitive, playful girl whose confidence grows more each day. She came in with her mom, Mabel (also up for adoption), but can be adopted independently. Maddy should not be an only dog—she thrives with canine companions and does well with both large and small dogs. She is also good around cats and children. She’s making steady progress with potty training (about 75% outside) and is doing great with kennel training, going into her crate willingly. She is still very timid on a leash, so having a secure fenced yard would be best. Given a little patience and a canine buddy to lean on, Maddy is sure to blossom. 🐾 Meet Onix – A Gentle Soul Waiting to Bloom 🖤 Onix is a beautiful black mixed-breed pup with the softest heart and a truly sweet soul. He’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can continue to build confidence and learn that the world—and people—can be kind. Onix came into our rescue with his mom, Cinnamon, a 12-lb Chihuahua who has already been adopted. We’re guessing Onix’s dad may have been some kind of shepherd. Onix is very fearful of any new people but absolutely thrives when other dogs are around. Confident canine companions help him feel safe and encourage him to interact with humans, so a home with at least one friendly dog would be ideal. He’s a happy, easygoing pup who enjoys playtime and quiet companionship. Onix is shy but making great progress—he’s recently learned to walk on a leash, is house-trained, and kennel-trained. A securely fenced yard is highly recommended so he can feel safe while exploring. Onix won’t do well in a busy or chaotic household.
