Story
Max is a 4-year-old Yorkie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is affectionate, cuddly, and loves being close to his person. Like many Yorkies, Max is smart, spirited, loyal, and full of charm. Important note: Max will likely act loud, defensive, or aggressive the first time you meet him. His first instinct is to protect his owner, so he may need time, patience, and space before he feels safe. Once Max feels comfortable, his sweet, playful, and loving side comes through. Because of his protective nature, he would do best with a patient family who understands the Yorkie personality and is willing to give him gentle reassurance, structure, and training as he adjusts. The right home will see that underneath his tough little introduction is a loyal companion who just wants to feel secure and loved. Max may be small in size, but he has a huge personality and so much love to give. He will make a wonderful companion for the right home.
