Here's the thing though - I'm not really grumpy. That's just my cute, little face! My owner passed away, but luckily a kind neighbor is fostering me while I wait to find my fur-ever home. I love to be brushed and petted, and taking naps in comfy beds. I don't mind having kitty roommates as long as they don't get all up in my business!  Sombra's special need: Sombra is blind in one eye. Our vets determined her eye does not need to be removed, but occasionally she may need eye ointment if boogies accumulate. She's a good patient and it's easy to apply.            Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. He is a gentle giant; 15 pounds of sweet kitty love. Bailey adores human attention and will follow you from room to room. Although he has lived with many cats at Cyd’s place, we think Bailey would be happiest as an only kitty or maybe with one furry sibling. Bailey is as chill as they come and would love nothing more than to sit on the couch and watch TV with you all day. Cyd passed away 1/28/25.  Bailey’s adoption fee is $150. He has been in two adopter homes where there were too many other animals or young children that were too much for Jody.  Our boy needs a quiet home, perhaps a retired couple or person who will love him and give him a peaceful environment with windows for birdwatching and unlimited petting and brushing. My mother rescued Katniss about 8 years ago. Sadly, my mother passed away recently, and it is necessary to rehome Katniss and her son, Midnight (who is also listed on this site) and also another of her rescue cats, Princess (who is also listed on this site). It is not necessary for the cats to remain together. I maintained my mother's residence and have taken care of the cats for a while since her death, but it is no longer feasible to do so. The new tenant is not interested in adopting the cats and while I have adopted many rescue pets, I am unable to keep Katniss at this time. Katniss has always been an inside cat, and she is sweet and likes to cuddle. She has been seen at Bay Animal Clinic in Fairhope, AL but her shots are likely not up to date. If adopted I will consider covering the vet bill for her checkup and shots.
