Mocha is a sweet, misunderstood 12 year old Seal Point Siamese angel in the rough. From the time she was a kitten, to a few months ago, she had one owner. The senior gentlemen had to rehome her due to his having anxiety issues, which may have transferred to her. With a few months of Comfort Zone plug ins (no longer necessary), plenty of canned food, gentle conversation, and affection from me, I believe she is now ready for her new forever home. She deserves better than a bathroom with a sunny window, which is all she has had with me for the most part. She wants to be with her person. She slept with her prior owner. She responds well to petting, just dont come from over her head, and no problem picking her up. We are introducing Mocha to other cats and I am surprised how well she is doing. She needs to be adopted (or fostered) by someone with patience, not anyone who might be afraid of her. A cat rescue is no place for her, she deserves a new forever home. Meet Diesel! Diesel is a handsome 13-year-old chocolate point Siamese with a big voice and an even bigger personality. He was adopted by a family, but after things didn’t work out with their dogs, he came to the sanctuary. Shortly after arriving, we noticed something wasn’t quite right, and Diesel was diagnosed with diabetes. Thanks to quick care and treatment, his glucose levels are now stable and he’s doing great. He currently takes Bexacat, a once-daily pill for diabetes, and happily takes it in a pill pocket with no fuss. He has been absolutely perfect with his medication routine. Diesel is also on a prescription diet to help manage his diabetes and keep him feeling his best. Diesel is wonderfully vocal and loves to chat, especially when he’s looking for attention. He enjoys being doted on, loves interactive toys and treat puzzles, and is quite the little puzzle master. True to his Siamese nature, Diesel likes affection on his terms and will happily let you know when it’s time for attention. Diesel needs a very specific home where he can truly thrive. He must be the only animal in the home and is not good with dogs. He is also not a fan of kids and requires an adult-only household. Because he is declawed from a previous home, Diesel must remain strictly indoors and cannot go outside at all. However, he absolutely loves relaxing on a safe, screened-in patio where he can watch the world go by. She happened on one of our volunteers who took her in. We searched for an owner but nobody claimed Vivienne. Some months later with TLC and appropriate vetting Vivienne is the ultimate people-loving cat. She loves curling up in the crook of your arm, content to watch TV with you. When you walk in she will chirp and trill with excitement to see you. While she adores human attention, she does not adore the other cats in her foster home. Sunny and Zoe are BONDED Snowshoe siblings and are to be adopted as a pair. Both Seal points. They are Leukemia/FIV tested, neutered/spayed, shots, microchipped. They may be a little stand-offish at first, but quickly you will see they are mellow and beautiful, & enjoy a good pet. Start them out in a small room and you will find they are fond of being petted, but might take a week to trust you. They love cat trees, a sunny window, and spots to chill. Approx 5 years old. Once they trust you, they are sweet. Adoption fee $350 for the pair. Sunny and Zoe are not to be split up. Tata, a 3 yr old neutered male, is a shy, quiet, calm Snowshoe, unusual chocolate swirl markings. He and other cats from the home were in a shelter, owner had died.If interested in Tata, he has a 30 day money back return policy, adoption fee $125, shots & microchipped. He pretty much stayed in one place to begin with, liked a high spot like a shelf or cat tree, but now might be found on the couch…not spooked by me anymore.
