Story
OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under 8 months old with a few adults available as well. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitty playroom, where they meet all their new friends.  Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will let you choose a surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.  We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has all three vaccines. Adopters must pay the total adoption fee before bringing the kitten home. Adopters must bring the kitten to the rescue for vaccines and for drop-off for a spay/neuter surgery appointment. Our goal is to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten, so we offer more services to accomplish that goal. Each kitten will receive 3 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, parasite and flea treatments, a nail trim, and micro-chipped with registration.  Adoption Fee: $125 We are now offering our kittens at a reduced price, with a few exceptions of breed and color from $225-$325 as listed. If you want to place a HOLD on any kitten, the NON-REFUNDABLE hold fee is $175. We will then remove the listing and hold the kitten for you. Please send a text message to the number below to set up a meet and greet. Showings are by appointment only and hosted (almost) every Saturday and Sunday. Our rescue is in Northern Ca (Manteca) and we don't transport out of state. If you would like to set up a meet and greet with a kitten or if you have questions, please text (209)825-5685 for Lisa or  510-299-2031 for Jessica. ##1773294##

Story
Clove is a big gorgeous guy who loves to be petted and lavished with affection. He's got this plush fur that you won't be able to resist sinking your fingers into, and Clove will respond with a hearty purr to show you how much he's loving it. He's a big softy; we've never heard him hiss or growl, no matter how uncertain he was at the time. To look at Clove, you would expect his confidence to match his sturdy size, but the truth is that Clove is a bit of a cowardly lion, just like the big feline in the Wizard of Oz. But all it takes is a reassuring hand on him to let him know all is well, and the purrs start. We firmly believe that with time and a predictable routine with a trusted adopter, Clove will continue to bloom. Some of us just need a bit more reassurance than others, and Clove is looking for his special person. Clove is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (including rabies), treated to prevent fleas, and litter box trained. His birth date is estimated to be July 27, 2022. Clove is being fostered by Terri. If you'd like to have a conversation and learn more about Clove, please visit our website at www.alliespals.org, select Adoptable Cats, press Clove's picture, and Apply to Adopt.

Story
Please contact Marilyn (marileealong@comcast.net), (925) 788-4397 for more information about this pet. Ava and her brother, Casper, were rescued at 4 weeks old from a feral colony. These once tiny, sick kittens have blossomed into being healthy, lively, and so playful. Ava, in typical Siamese fashion, can be rather talkative at times. She will greet you excitedly with a chorus of adorable meows, but settles down and isn't overly loud otherwise.  Ava and her brother are very bonded and should go to a home together. You will love seeing them romping around playing together and how sweet they are to each other.   For more information or to meet her please email Marilyn at marileealong@comcast.net    Community Concern for Cats is an all-volunteer rescue organization helping homeless and abandoned cats in Contra Costa County. Please contact Kay (kericksonttt@yahoo.com), (925) 408-5249 for more information about this pet.If interested, contact Kay at 925-408-5249&#226&#128&#172 or kericksonttt@yahoo.com.  My name is Sinbad. I'm a gorgeous or should I say handsome Siamese. I'm a young 5-6 year old male. My human left one day and never returned. There were about 14 of us who suddenly found ourselves homeless.  I found food from some of the nice people around where I used to live, but it's a scary life on the streets. Fortunately, I found a nice lady who let me sleep in a box on her patio after I was injured. The nice lady called someone else to get me and took me to the Cat Hospital where they fixed my wounds. Now I'm looking forward to finding a forever home with a very special person (like YOU).  Foster: Carol, Concord ID 273-116-23  Community Concern for Cats is an all-volunteer rescue organization helping homeless and abandoned cats in Contra Costa County.
