All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Sydney is a 5 year old Flamepoint Siamese and he is the sweetest boy ever. He is vocal, affectionate, and loving. He did test positive for FIV but he is very healthy otherwise. He would like to be your one and only pet, as he likes to be the king of the castle. He had a rough start to life and still has some trauma he is mentally healing from, but he has a lot of faith in his humans and wants to trust you completely, he will just need someone who is patient and cat experienced. He would enjoy a soft bed and cat tree to sleep and lounge on. He would love to cuddle with his new person in bed at night. He is a people kitty, he likes to conversate with you about his day and is eager to hear about yours. He would be a great companion for someone who works from home or is retired as he always loves to be right next to his human. Do you think Sydney could be the guy you've been searching for? He would love to meet you. Apply to adopt this gorgeous blue-eyed boy today. He has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.November 5, 2024, 9:13 pm

Crockett is ready to be the prince of his very own castle! He's loving, talkative, and likes to have access to every area of your home. Crockett will be slow to trust but once he warms up to you he will cuddle on your lap and follow you around. He's very Siamese, it's his world, his terms. Crockett is a bit spicy with other cats and animals as his alpha personality demands all the attention on him. He is a toy hog with catnip kickers and loves feather wands and laser beams. Story
Princess was born in my home on May 2010, she is 14 yrs old, she has a thyroid problem that is controlled with medication twice a day and urinary track and kidney food. She is an indoor cat only and has not been with other animals other than her brother Boy. She is very loving and playful girl, not clingy but will lay next to you and put her little arm on you if you don’t pay attention to her. She’s not too vocal but will speak to you. Her colors are mostly dark, likes to be brushed and at times will sit and watch TV with you. She likes sleeping at the foot of the bed but will sleep in her bed. Has not be around other animals. She has a brother Boy, they have been together all their lives (I WOULD LIKE THEM TO STAY TOGETHER). They can be left alone in a room with the door closed as long as they have water, food and a litter box. They travel well in a carrier, very well behaved in the vets office. They are good with adults and kids once they get to know them..

Story
Boy was born in my house, May 2010 is mostly white in color and has always been an indoor cat and has not been around other animals.Has all of his shots up to date, he is a gentle loving baby though it takes him a little time to get acquainted with you. He is not the clingy type but is very loving and playful. When he sees you are not feeling well or sentimental he is there by your side trying to comfort you, he will touch you very gently with his paw. My 5 year old granddaughter will play and brush him, if his little ears go back that means leave me alone. It breaks my heart to have to do this but we have relocated, have no space and my daughter is very allergic to cats. Boy has a sister Princes, born at the same time, she is much darker than him. She takes medication twice a day for her thyroid, is very playful but takes her a little time to get used to you. She’s very loving and has never been separated from her brother Boy. Please keep them together.

Story
Meet Cosmo, Ducky, Ray, and Sunny — a sweet litter of four kittens born with a genetic condition that prevented their upper eyelids from fully developing. This has sadly affected their vision, and some may eventually require eye removal surgery. We’re urgently looking for local fosters in the San Diego area to help socialize these special kittens as they prepare for the next chapter in their lives. Our goal is to give them the best chance at a happy, well-adjusted future — even if they are blind. With your love and time, they can grow into confident, affectionate companions.

Story
Cloud is 7 years old and easy to get along with. For the most part, she enjoys her own space. She's not super cuddly but she's always around. Unless it's bed time, in which case she's super sweet. She only likes to be pet on the head, and loves her chin scratches :) she's a vocal girl! Nothing too crazy, but expect responses if you talk to her lol. She's a very sweet kitty and she does well on her own. I want to give her to a family that will love and appreciate her! I believe she'll be best in a home with people that know how to respect her boundaries. We also have all of her medical history and she is up to date on everything!
